Object / man seen on mars - real or just a rock?

CNN had this showing a 4 year old footage taken from a nasa photo of mars which shows a statue of a man found on mars. Many people say there is a colony on mars, but this object could easily be a rock. What do you guys think?

I don't remember where but i was looking up mars objects last year and came across several statues/robot looking things/and buildings. And the site had a comparison shot to Nasas with the objects smudged out.

The whole thing is bizarre, no way to know how big it really is, whether it was photoshopped, or just overlooked by NASA and picked up on by someone honest...but that said, I think it looks like a statue, including a pedestal-type base; my husband thinks it's one of the Sandpeople! heh.

Let me see now. Here's a rock on Mars. Presumably it's the same sort of rock as every other rock in the picture. But it has been "sculpted" by the elements to look like a human?

Seems as logical an explanation as the 10 F16s that the military suddenly remembered were training over Stephenville - and dozens of eye witnesses mistook them for UFOs....
