Texas - a long history of ufos?
Seems like the stephenville event was not the only time a mass sighting occured over texas - this report reviews the ufo flap over texas from the 1870's

Extremely interesting, especailly since this event occurred over a month, over several states, and was before the wright brothers.
Yeah... this has to be one of the coolest sighting I ever heard of .... wow 1800's... Back then people had no reason to make up things like this....
History is replete with ufo sightings: Alexander The Great saw one come out of a lake, Columbus saw one on his voyage across the Atlantic and logged the incident into the ships log...these people aren't telling lies...Our goverment is the one telling lies!!! YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!

These were pre-zeppelin airships - read Timothy Goods book.
Consider the strange case of the airship that landed; the little man who climbed down from his flying machine and asked the farmhand for a light.
You're just assuming it's some kind of blimp just like Timothy Goods ...

i guees if u want to read about old sightings of ufo`s, u just need to read the bible.
Not that i myself would ever read that crap.
But i truely believe religion is built by sightings long ago.
