Interesting ...

The one large craft often in a triangle configuration (or a group of rigidly 'connected' lights form a triangle appearing as a single craft)are very often reported to be accompanied by one little red light flying separate and solo, either flying nearby or bringing up the rear even up to a half hour after the large craft has left, heading in the same flight path's and trajectory as the 'lead' triangle configuration is extremely common. Does Mufon or another UFO database of relative credibility (that the public can access) allow users to search based on the type of craft or configuration reported? It seems since the '80's - '90's Hudson Valley sightings, here in the U.S., this configuration has been the most reported UFO.

January 5th 2008. Somewhere between10:30-11:30pm,in North Edison NJ. I saw what appeared to be a small aircraft on its descent. First, it appeared oval or oblong. Second, it was low, very low, and I knew it had to be a small plane or some sort. Third, there was no noise typical of a low plane or helicopter. Fourth, for a small plane it has unusually bright lights configured oddly, I recall, from the side, two large red lights that didn't blink but rather flashed slowly like a beacon. Between the red light and closer to the bottom appeared to have some white lights and some hazy green-blue. Fifth, the UFO moved smoothly behind a tree line across from my home and never reappeared. Based on it's slow speed it would have landed in a suburb with very busy streets. There is no airstrip nearby. I watched the descent for about 10-12seconds and actually listened closely for a crash. My dog wanted badly to go out, she ran outside looked up at the lights and ran back in. She never pays anymind to planes, helicopters, thunder, or any moving vehicle. I told my wife jokingly that I saw a UFO and she laughed it off, only to tell me others have been testifying to seeing something that night, both in North and South Jersey.

I saw something very similar in central Jersey around 1985 above Kenilworth, each were distinct enough to make a connection. I also had a dog with me who ran home.

There's somthing out there...

Be well.

February 17th at about the same exact time there were 9 red lights hovering about. I grabbed some pictures and a video. They made some weird shapes but no perfect triangles or anything. One was moving in a tight circle though.

I was dirving down route 38 at about 1230am and just past prospectors in Hainsport heading towards lumberton and I saw a large triangle craft with white lights and a red light at the bottom yyou could tell that the craft was huge cause it had a dark figure in the sky you could see the shape of a triangle it was zig zagging in the air and thats what made me pull over to look at it, it was moving so fast and I knew it wasn't a plane cause i could see a plane in the opposite direction which can not zig zag in the air then the craft slowed down and started to cross over 38 where a street light was then it stop mid air then the three white lights lit up so bright you couldn't see the street light or nothing behind the craft it lit up for bout 30 second then went dim the the craft then flew back the oppisite direction it was going. I didnt have a good cell phone at the time so I couldn't video tape it and the only other witnesses in my car were my kids and they younger then 6 and was sleep and ironicaly no other cars was driving by I think I was mad that there wasnt any witnesses cause I wanted somebody to confirm what I was seeing and tell me I wasnt crazy. I would swaer on a bible that what I saw was real and that what I'm saying is the truth.I'm glad someone was able to get a shot of it because I KNOW it was NOT a PLANE.
