Sergio Bertolucci, the director for research and scientific computing at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, which controls the collider, recently TOLD REPORTERS:

“Out of this door might come something, or we might send something to it.”

I have an idea about what could happen:

10 phenomena likely to fly out of the LHC’s butt

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble here, but the video linked in this article is old.

THe asteroid mentioned at the beginning of the show was discovered in January, but George says "earlier this month".

Majel Roddenberry died in December of 2008, and George says "last month" for her death.

He also mentioned Obama making changes to the stimulus bill that hadn't passed yet.

Clearly, this is a program from January of 2009, earlier this year, and is almost a year old, so is not an "update", but instead is old information.

Bit of a crack up that visual on the clip: 'Cern logo = 666'..
ER... that is the SHAPE of the LHC!
