The forum was ongoing some changes to the template and an error occured resulting in that the Bulletin Board Code buttons stopped functioning. In the meanwhile I have taken some time to find some solutions to this problem. I will try to keep it updated as long as it is needed.
You can write smileys manually by writing e.g :

Here is a solution to use smileys if you don't know the codes 
1. Rightclick on the smiley you want to use.
2. Click on "Copy picture link".
3. Insert the link of your smiley between an Image BBC code [
img]http://smiley.jpg[/img].
