Phoenix lights 10 year anniversary and documentary

Ten years ago this March, a huge object that some witnesses believe may have been an extraterrestrial spacecraft drifted slowly and silently over the Phoenix, Arizona, metropolitan region, also known as "The Valley of the Sun."
Planning for the ten-year anniversary of that incident is underway and includes a Phoenix-area showing the award-winning documentary film THE PHOENIX LIGHTS as well as other activities and events.
Coming on the heels of a widely-reported sighting at Chicago's O'Hare international Airport of a small, hovering gray metallic disc, the tenth anniversary of "The Phoenix Lights" incident promises to renew interest and speculation about these kinds of events.
In Arizona, many people will be looking into the night sky.

HONOLULU ufo

HONOLULU, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- A pair of airborne mysterious lights thought to be a UFO in Honolulu last week drew a crowd of onlookers and was captured on video by a local TV network.

Honolulu's KHON-TV reported those who witnessed the alleged UFO said two lights circled above Ala Moana Beach Park in the Hawaiian capital at 45 degrees above the horizon before disappearing.

"These two little fireballs with a stream behind it," Honolulu resident Peter Hollingworth said. "Looked kind of like a shooting star but it just kept going. They changed directions a few times, at first it was coming in then it turned, then it went out then it came back in again."

The unusual light show, caught on video by the Channel 2 SkyCam, immediately brought explanations from area experts.

While University of Hawaii astronomy Professor Gareth Wynn-Williams admitted the objects were a UFO in the basic sense, they were likely the icy remnants of a high flying airplane.

"This in a sense is an unidentified flying object," he said. "It's something in the sky that's moving that we haven't identified."

Ufo in North Carolina Charlotte related to Nuclear power plant

people in the Charlotte area called 911 dispatchers and reported seeing a weird hovering light in the sky.

Emergency dispatchers answered the calls in Iredell, Lincoln, Mooresville and Huntersville Wednesday night. One Lincoln County officer reportedly saw it, and the National Weather Service in Greer, South Carolina got similar calls.

Even stranger - people in between the two areas in York, Gaston and Cleveland counties had no such 911 reports.

The Federal Aviation Administration had no reports of plane crashes, and law enforcement officers said they didn't see any extra-terrestrials.

George lund is the state director for the mutual UFO network - a group of amateurUFO investigators. He says the area around Lake Norman - and Mcguire Nuclear Plant - is a hot spot for UFO sightings. They think that they're coming in that area maybe to feed off some of energy that that plant is producing.

O'HARE UFO PHOTO further investigation

As far as I can tell this image was recently (a few hours ago) posted on the ATS (Above Top Secret) UFO Forum. The subscriber writes, “the person who sent this to me claims he shot this at the airport” [O’Hare].

Here is the entire pic with the object isloated and enhanced:

Hacker uncovered UFo secrets

In 2002, Gary McKinnon was arrested by the UK's national high-tech crime unit, after being accused of hacking into Nasa and the US military computer networks.

He says he spent two years looking for photographic evidence of alien spacecraft and advanced power technology. The U.S. Bush administration now wants to put him on trial, and if tried there he could face 60 years behind bars. The search for proof of the existence of UFOs landed Gary McKinnon in a world of trouble.

After allegedly hacking into NASA websites -- where he says he found images of what looked like extraterrestrial spaceships -- the 40-year-old Briton faces extradition to the United States from his North London home. If convicted, McKinnon could receive a 70-year prison term and up to $2 million in fines.

McKinnon told Wired Magazine that he found a "book with 400 testimonials from everyone from air traffic controllers to those responsible for launching nuclear missiles. Very credible witnesses. They talk about reverse-(engineered) technology taken from captured or destroyed alien craft."

McKinnon also provided Wired Magazine with testimony from, "A NASA photographic expert said that there was a Building 8 at Johnson Space Center where they regularly airbrushed out images of UFOs from the high-resolution satellite imaging. I logged on to NASA and was able to access this department. They had huge, high-resolution images stored in their picture files. They had filtered and unfiltered, or processed and unprocessed, files."

"My dialup 56K connection was very slow trying to download one of these picture files. As this was happening, I had remote control of their desktop, and by adjusting it to 4-bit color and low screen resolution, I was able to briefly see one of these pictures. It was a silvery, cigar-shaped object with geodesic spheres on either side. There were no visible seams or riveting. There was no reference to the size of the object and the picture was taken presumably by a satellite looking down on it. The object didn't look manmade or anything like what we have created. Because I was using a Java application, I could only get a screenshot of the picture -- it did not go into my temporary internet files. At my crowning moment, someone at NASA discovered what I was doing and I was disconnected."

I also got access to Excel spreadsheets. One was titled "Non-Terrestrial Officers." It contained names and ranks of U.S. Air Force personnel who are not registered anywhere else. It also contained information about ship-to-ship transfers, but I've never seen the names of these ships noted anywhere else.
