Seems like the BBC in the UK is finally picking up that Ufos are a hot topic for the public at the moment, here's their new reports:

At 6:00 p.m. on April 8, 2009 a UFO was filmed in Changsha, Hunan Province, China.
Shortly after I arrived in Changsha end of last week, a high frequency sound hit my right ear so hard that my ear auto tuned out (i.e. went deaf) for more than a few seconds. A friend shared that when this happens to him, normally it means to him that an earthquake has just happened near his part of the world. True enough, I searched online and found that a pretty serious earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale had just occured in Qinghai just half a day before this high frequency noise incident.
Stranger still was the fact that within an hour of the earthquake, there was this supposed UFO sighting in Changsha. So, maybe the high frequency sound was due to the UFO hovering nearby instead? Anyway, I realized that Changsha seems to be a hotbed for UFO sightings with six sightings reported in the media this past year alone. There was even once when sightings were reported two days in a row:
Several Bright Orange UFOs over Loughborough on 24.08.09 around 9.02pm. All following one another with the triangular formation UFOs at the back. In this footage you can see from the angle of the camera they are not traveling horizontally but increasing altitude towards the orbit.

Its very interesting it looks how the military and private companies try to exploit alien technology. Private contractors from aerospace companies around the world are in fact heavily interested in Ufo research so there really could be some relevance to this fictional movie: Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology.

UFO researchers are still baffled over a large scale UFO event whereby thousands of witnesses saw two cloud-like UFOs with white lights circling them over an enormous area (at least 300KM radius) in Shandong Province.
More photos, such as the one above, of the event are beginning to surface along with film footage. Neither scientists or authorities have come forward to with any answers as to what the objects seen were however it has been noted that this sighting stands out in regards to the wide area over which the UFO was seen.
