Cardiff Ufo - Nick pope talks more
As you may know today everyone is now saying the recent ufos over the UK were just lanterns. However i would find it hard to belive that a lantern would fly straight under a helicopter (as it did in Cardiff) and then fly away at tremendous speed as reported by experienced military staff.
As Nick pope recently commented the 'The MoD and Civil Aviation Authority still need to look at this'.
“They need to interview witnesses, analyse the film and check both civil and military radar to see if any unusual activity was logged.
“An important factor is that this was shot from a military base — and the military tend to make good witnesses.
“This object seems to be pulsing through virtually the entire spectrum and that’s unusual. It’s not something an ordinary aircraft or satellite would do, and it’s too slow to be a meteor or a shooting star.”

Bonnie Lewis, 29, told how she filmed seven UFOs at Bromsgrove, Worcs, last Friday:
She said: “They weren’t from this world. They made no sound and had flashing dots inside.”
While on the 7th of June..... Cpl Proctor, 38, of the 1st Battalion Irish Regiment, recalled how he saw the amazing “craft” just after 11pm on Saturday,.
He said: “I was on duty in the guard room when the other boys outside began shouting. I went out to see what the commotion was about and could see thirteen craft in the skies.
“They were zig-zagging, but I filmed two before they disappeared. They were like rotating cubes with multiple colours.
“I made a full report to my commanding officers and gave them my footage. The other lads were as amazed by it as I was.”
This Map Ties together all the recent Ufo reports from the 5 - 7th June :
A 19-year-old private on patrol said he also saw the “fleet”.
The soldier, who asked not to be named, said: “I saw these things flying in the sky and I told my guard commander.
“There were about 30 lights passing over for a few minutes, very high but not at a great speed. They were bright red. Another soldier saw them too.”
An MoD spokesman said: “We deal with any UFO sightings to see if there was a military threat.”

Its a UFO Frenzy in the UK ! June 24, Ufo's over army base
Check out this report:
June 24, 2008 A shocked soldier told last night how he saw 13 UFOs in the skies above his military barracks. Corporal Mark Proctor was among three squaddies who spotted the objects while out on night patrol. He filmed them on his mobile phone and reported the close encounter to Army top brass:
Ministry of Defence experts were studying his report and video yesterday — after ordering Mark and his pals NOT to say anything else about the incident.
The sighting, at Tern Hill barracks near Market Drayton, Shrops, came two hours before helicopter police officers reported an encounter with a huge craft 80 miles away near Cardiff.

Man in Liverpool Uk records several UFOs on Mobile Phone
Video
A Liverpool man claims to have seen several UFOs hovering in the sky around the city and filmed them on his phone. Vince Pybis said he saw a light above the bushes in Sefton Park and got his phone to film it, by which time six more had appeared.
Callers into BBC Radio Merseyside's also said they saw the lights in the Knotty Ash and Prescot areas. Merseyside Police said they were not worried and no-one called the control room about the sightings.
But Mr Pybis said: "I'm a sceptic, I didn't believe in UFOs. But until you've actually seen one - well I saw seven - then I thought, they are out there."

Scientists create man made flying Ufo
June 23, 2008 -- A new wingless, saucer-shaped aircraft is scheduled to take to the skies. Just don't call it a UFO. Subrata Roy, a scientist at the University of Florida, calls his aircraft a "wingless electromagnetic air vehicle," or WEAV, and if it flies he says it could usher in a new age of aircraft design.
"If this works and we are able to fly it, this will be a quantum shift in how we see flying objects," said Roy. The WEAV will fly based on a physical phenomena known as magnetohydrodynamics.
Whether a craft moves through water or air, the principle is the same.
In Roy's WEAV there will be two different sets of electrodes placed on a thin ceramic plate. One set will be located on the top and bottom of the craft to move ionized air down, providing lift, and another set along the sides to propel the aircraft forward. The electrodes create a conducting fluid by ionizing the surrounding air into plasma.
The force created by passing an electrical current through this plasma pushes around the surrounding air, and that air creates lift and momentum and provides stability.

Previous Ufo and helicopter encounters
This is an actual KABC TV CH 7 news footage of what appears to be a UFO object captured by the FLAIR SYSTEM on the LBPD coppter system camera:
Mars phoenix lander finds water & ice on Mars
"It is with great pride and a lot of joy that I announce today that we have found proof that this hard bright material is really water ice and not some other substance," said Phoenix Principal Investigator Peter Smith of the University of Arizona, Tucson, during a Friday news briefing to announce the confirmation of water ice.

Cardiff UFO Police Helicopter encounter in the news
The Cardiff Ufo helicopter encounter is still gaining huge media attention in the UK but is slow to gain media attention worldwide for some reason. Here's one report:
Contrary to media reports that there was no footage taken - because the object moved too fast, I believe that footage actually does exist because modern military helicopters have numerous onboard recording instruments. If footage does exist its probably classified now, particularly now that the pilots have been told they can not talk to the press about what happened.
Here's another report on what happened:
A police helicopter had a near miss with a UFO in what appears to have been one of the first sightings of its kind. The helicopter, with a three-man crew, was forced to swerve sharply to avoid being hit by the UFO. The bizarre incident took place near an RAF base outside Cardiff, South Wales, where the helicopter is based.
A source said: "It closed in at great speed, aiming straight at the helicopter.
"The chopper had to swerve sharply to avoid being hit. The guys said if they'd stayed where they were, they'd be dead -- it would've been a direct hit.
"They are convinced it was a UFO. It sounds far-fetched, but they know what they saw.
"These guys are hardened professionals and know people will take the mickey, but they are certain they saw a UFO."
"After the near-collision they decided to follow it to find out what the hell it was.
"They belted across the Bristol Channel in pursuit, but it was too quick. They got to the North Devon coast and had to turn back because they were running low on fuel."

Cardiff UFO Helicopter chase June 7th 2008 - Interview with Nick Pope
Police helicopter avoids near Ufo collision in Athan, Cardiff South east England June 7th
The pilot of a police helicopter was forced to take evasive action to avoid a collision with a UFO as the aircraft was returning to the Ministry of Defence base of St Athan, near Cardiff.
The three airmen described the unidentified flying object as "saucer-shaped", and proceeded to pursue, getting as far as the North Devon coast.
The helicopter was stationary, hovering at 500ft and waiting for clearance to land on June 7, when the crew spotted the UFO hurtling towards them from below.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said that they could confirm the Air Support Unit had sighted an unusual aircraft and that this was reported to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
The unidentified flying object closed in at great speed, aiming straight for the helicopter, which was forced to swerve sharply. "They are convinced it was a UFO. It sounds far-fetched, but they know what they saw." According to the South Wales Police, the helicopter crew crossed the Bristol channel in pursuit of the UFO, but lost sight of it and were forced to turn back due to low fuel
