Stunning UFO case - The deadly ufo / ovni lights at Colares Brazil 1977

In what is a stunning Ufo case i find it hard to believe this was never picked up by the media outside Brazil at the time. Sadly what is more shocking is that the Airforce captain who came forward with his testimony for the History Channel Ufo Files series was found dead 2 months after doing this interview - no coincidence right?. The top North coast of Brazil is definitely a Major Ufo hot spot and reports still continue to this day in the region.

In 1977 the Brazilian island of Colares and the area of the Amazon delta were visited by flying objects of an unknown nature. Nearly all kinds of UFOs were seen, some big, some small, saucer-shaped, cigar-shaped, barrel-shaped, luminous or not. They arrived generally from the North every day, from the sky and also sometimes from underwater, and it lasted for months.

Regularly, some Island inhabitants were targeted by the objects beaming strange lights at them and many were badly hurt. The Air Force came, investigated, saw, reported. The weird rays hurt 35 people, and civilians fled from entire villages.

NASA literally finds buckets of water on the moon !

Just when we though the LCROSS mission was a failure NASA is touting that the mission revealed "bucket"sized amounts of water found in the crater Cabeus on the moon's south pole. Of course it would be an embarrassment wouldn't it if the 85 million dollar project revealed nothing found?. Clearly this signals to NASA they have the go-ahead now for a man made base on the moon by 2020.

The LCROSS team took the known near-infrared light signature of water and compared it to the impact spectra LCROSS near-infrared recorded after the probe had sent its spent rocket crashing into the moon.

A spectrometer helps identify the composition of materials by examining which wavelengths of light they emit or absorb.

"We got good fits" for the data graphs, said Anthony Colaprete, LCROSS's principal investigator, at today's press conference at the NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California.

More unexpected near misses to come ? NASA keeps quite on yet another near miss Asteroid !

Yet another near Miss asteroid (last one went unnoticed by NASA a few weeks ago over Indonesia) and yet again NASA keeps quite about it to the last minute - Why is this happening so often now ? well the main reason is that local astronomers are missing out on near miss data because the US military is keeping asteroid and meteor data classified from now on. With less people having access to the data there is an overall reduction in the ability to predict near misses.

Remember this article:
The US military has abruptly ended an informal arrangement that allowed scientists access to data on incoming meteors from classified surveillance satellites.
The change is a blow to the astronomers and planetary scientists who used the information to track space rocks, especially those that burn up over the oceans or in other remote locations.

Its disturbing that such asteroids are only picked up a few hours before impact and even more disturbing that NASA's NEO program is now forced to keep quite on them because of the new military classification of asteroid and meteor data.

It unsatisfactory that the public were only given a few hours or so warning in advance for the most recent asteroid (2009 VA)when NASA new about it for much longer ! This brings up a whole series of questions as to how much more does NASA they really know about Near miss objects in space that they aren't telling - or aren't able to us?

Guess we will have to wait for planet X to crash through our atmosphere before NASA tells us about it right?

26-foot-wide asteroid almost hit the earth when it passed within about 14,000 km of the planet recently, NASA has said.

The asteroid, called 2009 VA, was noticed only 15 hours before it made its closest approach towards the planet last Friday. It came 30 times nearer than the moon, which is 250,000 miles away, the US space agency said. Similar sized objects pass by thi s close to earth about twice a year and impact on the planet about once in every five years, it said. This was the third closest known (non-impacting) earth approach by any asteroid.

Astronomers believe the asteroid would have almost completely burned up while entering earth's atmosphere, causing a brilliant fireball in the sky but no major damage to the surface, the Daily Mail reported. The asteroid was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey on November 6 and was identified by the Minor Planet Centre at Cambridge in Massachusetts as a near earth object.

In March this year, a 100-foot asteroid passed away 45,000 miles above the earth's surface. A similar sized object slammed into Tunguska, Siberia in 1908. The impact created a blast so powerful it levelled 1,200 square miles of forest.

Posters comments: There was spotlights from a show in the glasgow sky`s 10/11/2009 at 6 at night,just by chance while i was having a smoke in my kitchen i looked at it with useing my phone and i seen near the lights whats in my vid.This was filmed from my 1 up Flat window open,you can hear the cars going by so i cant see how people will think it was a chopper/plane ect,and there was no sound?
Btw i couldnt see this with my eyes,it only showed up when looking at the sky through my 3.2mp phone camera,while i was recording seeing it on the phone but not when i was looking at where my camera was pointed.

Vatican Seeks Signs of Alien Life 2009 conference

Alot of the media are questioning why the Catholic church (one of the most conservative institution around) would bother bringing up the Et Topic. Well alot of this relates to events which happened back at Vatican city and information that only the Vatican is privy to - thus the reason for the recent astrobiology conference:

That new 2012 movie review - facts vs reality?

Hollywood has really gone overboard with the new 2012 movie !

Just out today - the new 2012 movie comes no way close presenting a realistic view of what may happen during 2012.

The film portrays that Nibiru (aka planet X ) heads toward and collides with Earth. NASA has commented on the film saying that Nibiru is not real ( a controversial statement in itself -considering the mass panic would they really tell us if a planet was going to destroy us?) and there are no dire events known to happen in 2012 - but this is simply not true - NASA has infact confirmed that we are to expect strong sun storms during 2012 and this will interact with a deterioration of the Earth's Magnetosphere.

Scientists feel the failure of the earths shield during these strong solar storms will be the real concern in late 2012 as it will effect every country and cause wide spread electrical disturbances and this is supported up by scientific forecasts.

Why so many Triangle Ufos recently ?

Triangle Ufos are really busy circling the globe at the moment - i can't keep up!

Why are we seeing so many triangle Ufos at the moment ? - i heard one theory is that triangle Ufos are surveyors ..like probes - they often circle the the earth at certain times and report back what they find - could this be the case? is there some global survey going on again ? just an idea...

US government under pressure to speed up disclosure

With a great many important figures now coming forward to share their UFO experiences and governments like Great Britain releasing official UFO documents, there is a real sense that the ground is shifting under the feet of the big silent walls of the United States government.

I am convinced, having spoken with Nick Pope and others about the files that are still to come that its going to be very difficult for the US to remain silent in the face of their own personnel also stepping forward. In the case of Former U.S. Air Force Lt. Milton Torres, his UFO experience took place in U.K. air-space and the official documentation has been released, which leaves the United States in a no win position. The longer they remain silent the worse it will look for them.

Steve Bassett and Edgar Mitchell, along with Nick Pope attended a press conference yesterday and promised more aggressive action after May, if the US does not come clean with its UFO files.

Encounters of a fourth kind - based on real events or not ?

I have been getting alot of emails from people about the new Encounters of a fourth kind movie. People are telling me the hypnosis scenes are disturbing because they are meant to come from real case footage and show people levitating ... but are they real?

There is some controversy as people in the Ufo community feel the movie is not based on real events as claimed and is simply marketing hype for another "blair witch project". I feel that if this is the case then people are being misled and the movie is not beneficial for Ufology.

Dr. Abigail Tyler is meant to be based on a real psychiatrist in Nome - a remote village in Alaska . She interviews numerous people who have been abducted in the area . The 'real case studies' which are video taped are meant to be the basis for the movie. Apparently however Dr. Abigail Tyler is not known in Nome and there are sparse ufo reports or abductions in Alaska in general.

(i've searched the internet - read this article - yes there is the missing cases article but that's it - there's no history of Ufo events in the area.
Would like your thoughts on this and your comments if you have seen the movie yourself.

The movie is based on a true story that happened over in Alaska,back in the fall of 2000.It starred Milla Jovovich as Doctor Abbey Tyler who claims that she recalls her husband’s murder as an abduction and stabbing.

She did studies on other people in the same town who say they experienced strange phenomena or abductions.She used hypnosis on them.

What’s so interesting, is all this footage is captured live on tape,and they used the actual footage side by side in various scenes of the film.

The results of these studies often ended tragically and ended up getting Abby in trouble with the law,since these what appear to be, supernatural murders and physical damage to be people were hard to prove because the video tape would go all fuzzy when it happened.

However, you could catch glimpses of what appeared to be,people being possessed,in between the fuzziness. One man was levitated off his bed. Abby,herself,also got levitated off the couch.

The Ufo " channel " - Britian's most active Ufo Hotpsot - Cardiff through to Jersey

Second only to mount adams in the USA the next major Ufo hotspot in the world where Ufos are seen daily seems to be The Ufo " channel " in the UK:

The 'Ufo channel' in the UK is where Ufos seem to gather daily along the coast of the Uk going over the English channel to France. I have posted so many times over the years about sightings all this area that is not funny - something is going on in this coastal region.

Remember the Amazing sighting in 2007 where a credible pilot and his passengers saw a massive cigar ufo ... guess what this happened in the Ufo channel as well all these reports : Alderney Lights , the Jersey lights , the southamton lights and many more.

This is where Cardiff comes in thanks to this poster numerous Ufos have been filmed in the area - some people argue these are satellites but others beg to differ as you can see the orbs flying at different speeds in different directions (where as satellites follow a stationary orbit) . Another reasonable explanation could also be someone continually putting out Chinese lanterns from the UK mainland but not sure about this either?...

We counted a group of 23....they were much higher than the planes...and we saw one plane that changed direction completely when he saw this. I have also taken photos with my Nikon D80 200mm lens and when zoomed in they appear triangular in shape...almost like the outline of a house fly or fighter jet. There has been many sightings around Essex in the last few months and the MOD in the UK has now also released files on previous encounters/sightings of UFO's in Essex. Heini van Niekerk
