All eyes on Mazlan Othman - her previous talk about ET's and the UN + next weeks conference

UN speaker Mazlan Othman is a women under the spotlight this month and she is someone we should keep an eye on ..

Back in January 25 this year the Royal Society invited the International Academy of Astronautics for a discussion on The detection of extra-terrestrial life and the consequences for science and society. The January conference was seen as preparation for the much anticipated event on ET life at the Royal Academy this coming week (4th October) .

Mrs Othman attended and she indeed talked about neat Earth objects, but she also most importantly she brought up the subject of  ET's. A significant amount of her speech was a discussion of the history of when the ET topic was brought up at the United Nations.

She recalls the time when Prime Minister of Grenada called for the UN to study the origins and nature of UFOs and how this effort failed when the Prime Minister wasn't re-elected. She also reminds us of  how the UN was involved with the placement plaques on the Voyager spacecraft.

So why did she bring this all up and where is this all heading you may ask?....

Well contrary to controversy from created by that article in the Times and the backlash with the Guardian article - you now probably know she has not been appointed the UN's official Et officer - but she is a powerful voice on the topic.

The question on everyones mind - as a UN speaker, is she part of the UN's official campaign to get ET disclosure underway?.. before we can say anymore i guess we will all have to wait and find out and listen to what Mrs Othman has to say next week at the Royal Society.

Clifford Stone - fact or fantasy?

Clifford Stone is a controversial figure in Ufology, he has much to say in this interview, the question is how much of this is fact vs fiction - would like to know your thoughts about his claims:


Sgt Stone served in the U.S. Army and claims he was covertly recruited into an elite UFO retrieval team due to his natural ability to interface with extraterrestrial biological entities (EBEs). He claims that he was picked out during his childhood by the U.S. military and had an Air Force Captain regularly visit him on a weekly basis who encouraged Sgt Stone in pursuing his interest in UFOs, and eventually influenced his decision to join the military. Upon joining the military Sgt Stone found himself starting a very untypical military career.

Sgt Stone says he was initially given training at a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Warfare facility at Fort Lee, VA., and then given regular army assignments until called away to perform his crash retrieval duties when required. Sgt Stone claims that when required for UFO retrievals he was typically called out to serve for a week. He says that his army service record was distorted to exclude references to his actual training and assignments, and refers to him only performing clerical duties as a typist. Like many whistleblowers, there is controversy over inconsistencies between his testimony and lack of documentary evidence to verify his alleged training and actual service.  read more

The Royal Society to hold ET conference & look at the UN agenda - Mazlan Othman is attending

Ok so what on earth is going on here...!

As you may know in my previous post The UN’s Mazlan Othman who denied the other day to the Uk paper the guardian that she accepted the role of first contact officer to the UN is now attending a conference on the "scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life" . The Royal Society is the world's most prestigious institution for the debate and acceptance of new scientific theories - holding a conference on ET life amoung scientists there will bring the topic up to a serious level.

Othman  mentioned that she would just be talking about “near-Earth objects"  but one look at The Royal Society’s website reveals that the topic of the conference isn’t about “near-Earth objects.” Instead , the title of the conference is: “Towards a scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life.” It looks like the UN went into damage control about the leak of her role and we will have to wait to see where this goes after the upcoming conference.

Even more astounding is that fact that Othman is to join other panelists at The Royal Society to discuss first (official) contact, and what role the UN should play, among other related issues.

If you look at the numerous disclosure steps taken over the last month you can tell that the series of events in no co-incidence at all - first the Vatican makes a statement early September, Washington press conference on nuclear and Ufos, and then UN and Royal Society discuss ET life in October.. looks like a co-ordinated  rush to help start preparing the public for the inevitable.

Bright cylinder Ufo / object over Utah 30th September 2010 ?

This UFO was spotted in the sky tonight at 7:19pm the sunset was at 7:10pm this is not the sun or a cloud 4 people witnessed it and could not identify what it was it looked like the top of the sun going behind the mountains but the mountains are far below as you can see and the sun was already down. At approximately 7:43 the object disappeared slowly in the same spot.
The sun or cloud would have moved since 7:19pm the object was seen even before that it took 3 to 4 minutes before that to get the video camera to film it once it was spotted.
It was the brightest thing in the sky easily seen.

Laser-like signal once detected near goldilocks planet Gliese 581 g!

Gliese 581 is a star that has several planet's orbiting it. If you remember back in december 2008 a scientist detected a laser-like signal originating from one of it's planets. Ragbir Bhathal a astrophysicist at the Australian science studies, physics and astronomy at the University of Western Sydney Macarthur discovered a Alien Laser Signal coming from M3V star system planet Gliese 581e in December 2008 (the interview).

When asked about his discovery at the time Dr Bhathal admitted he had been really excited about what he had possibly stumbled across.  He said: 'Whenever there’s a clear night, I go up to the observatory and do a run on some of the celestial objects. Looking at one of these objects, we found this signal.

We found this very sharp signal, sort of a laser lookalike thing which is the sort of thing we’re looking for - a very sharp spike. And that is what we found. So that was the excitement about the whole thing.'
For months after his discovery Dr Bhathal scanned the skies for a second signal to see whether it was just a glitch in his instrumentation but his search came to nothing.

Now fast forward to September 2010 and scientists have discovered a 'golidlocks' planet (a planet that has all the right conditions to sustain life) orbiting this same star. So the question here - is there all no coincidence?

Could one of these habitable planets actually have intelligent life already on it capable of emitting lasers? The answer is well maybe - Both Gliese 581e and Gliese 581g both share same Gliese 581 star system and if the conditions for life are right who knows what have evolved in the habitable region.

London Equinox Lights 29th September

As I drove to work along the A127 this early Thursday morning heading east I noticed a triangle shaped formation of lights in the sky. I parked over at a service station. This is my video of the event which lasted 5 or so minutes as the lights changed shaped. The ONLY thing I can think off is that these are very high altitude aircraft or short contrails glinting the rising sunlight from their bodies. But very strange none-the-less. What do you all think?!

Mazlan Othman says she's not the UN alien ambassador now?

I had so many people email me saying the original article from the Sunday Times about astrophysicist Mazlan Othman becoming the UN's alien ambassador was wrong and now it looks like these suspicions may be confirmed. I apologise and it looks like in the media hype this story has got carried away.

According to new reports - the official in question - Malaysian astrophysicist Mazlan Othman, says that while she likes the idea of being an alien ambassador, the job does not exist:

According to the Guardian from yesterday she emailed back to them saying:

"It sounds really cool but I have to deny it," she said of the story.

The UN General Assembly, Unoosa’s (the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs) task is to promote international co-operation in the peaceful uses of outer space. They advised “There are no plans to change the current mandate” .

According to the Sunday Times article, Othman was to describe her new role as chief alien ambassador next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli Conference Centre in Buckinghamshire, England.

She will be attending a conference next week, but instead she'll be talking about how the world deals with "near-Earth objects".

To avoid further gossip I am assuming we will have to wait until she speaks next week to know exactly what she is to talk about.

It is very disappointing that the Sunday times may have got this story wrong and i will keep you posted as further news comes in.

First habitable planet outside solar system is found ! - Gliese 581g

This new find has huge ramifications for Ufology - as the probability of habitable planets go up so does the chance that life exists in space:
A team of planet hunters led by astronomers at the University of California (UC), Santa Cruz and the Carnegie Institution of Washington has announced the discovery of a planet orbiting a nearby star, Gliese 581, at a distance that places it squarely in the middle of the star's "habitable zone." This would be the most Earth-like exoplanet and the first truly habitable one yet discovered. The research was supported by grants from NASA and the National Science Foundation. "Goldilocks" refers to an exoplanet whose temperatures are "not too cold, not too hot, but just right" to maintain water and support Earth-like life:

Astronomers say they've found the first planet beyond our solar system that could have the right size and setting to sustain life as we know it, only 20 light-years from Earth.

My own personal feeling is that the chances of life on this planet are 100 percent," Steven Vogt, an astrophysicist at the University of California at Santa Cruz, told reporters today. "I have almost no doubt about it."

The discovery, published online in The Astrophysical Journal, is the result of 11 years of observations at the Keck Observatory in Hawaii. Astronomers participating in the Lick-Carnegie Exoplanet Survey detected the planet by tracking the faint gravitational wobbles it produced in its parent star.

 Now they say there may well be many more planets out there like this one."The fact that we were able to detect this planet so quickly and so nearby tells us that planets like this must be really common," Vogt said in a news release.

Ufo over Nowra Australia so bright light reflects from clouds - 17th September

A new Ufo video in here from Nowra Australia on the 17th Sepetember. Although it may at first look like a reflection form within the car's windowscreen, keep watching - the light from the Ufo becomes obvious and its so powerful its reflected from the clouds (something you don't see from a normal aircraft). If you were also in Nowra and saw this please let us know more and respond to this post.

This was captured on my phone over Nowra (Australia) on the 17th of September 2010. This is unedited, has has no sound and is slightly blurry. I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I apologize. I didn't hear any sound from the object (probably too far away).
In by saying that it's a UFO I'm not claiming it's an alien, just trying to get opinions.
It creates a cool halo on the clouds.

A few more details of which I did not add that may be of use:
1. The time was around 0500
2. I noticed a glow on the Horizon
3. Within about 15 seconds I had my phone camera out of my pocket and recording.
4. My phone video camera was unfortunately set to mute audio at the time, due to the mad rush I was fiddling around too much. I just wanted to get the video before I lost it. Note: I know this may all seem coincidental and very typical. I'm a painter and was preparing to go to work when I sighted this.

Weird fireballs over Rio Brazil 25th September 2010

Possibly a satellite or military exercise but a very strange one if it is. Numerous random fireballs started exploading out of the sky over Rio and seen by multiple witnesses on the 25th September 2010. If anyone who actually saw this in Rio can shed any further light on what this is then please respond to this post.

There was more but this is all I filmed.It seemed to be stationary in the sky, by that I mean it didn't seem to be moving across the sky. One of the crew was looking at it with binoculars and commented on the fact that it appeared to go back up until it diapered out of site I don't know what it was. It lasted about 20 minutes."

Leslie Kean and todays press conference on ETs vs Nuclear weapons

Over the last month Ufo disclosure progress has made huge strides - From the catholic church, to the United nations appointing an Et officer and now US airforce officials coming forward at todays press conference in Washington, it's no co-incidence that these important events happened this month.

Today in washington numerous US airforce officials came forward admitting that Ufos have infact disabled and interfered with our most powerful defense - nuclear weapons (i have posted about this for years). Our governments have keep this secret as it a major national security threat - if our most powerful weapons can be de-activated in an instant by Et's then where does this leave us and why are they doing this? It makes us think what is human-kind doing wrong?

I will be writing a full follow-up on the outcomes of today's highly important conference and you will be likely hearing more about it in the news over the coming week.
Leslie Kean's book on military generals and Ufos seems well timed just pre-dating the conference and she deserves credit for her ten years of investigative reporting into the topic:

Here's a short editorial on today's conference... will be doing a full writeup when more information is avaialble.

Six former US military pilots and another member of the armed forces claim that between 1948 and 2003 aliens have landed in various bases in the US and Great Britain – including a visit to Suffolk, we are told. (Whether they had time to stop in Bury St Edmunds while they were there is not made clear, but if not, they missed out – it’s very lovely.)

In 1967, an object hovered above a nuclear base in Montana, and 10 Minuteman nuclear missiles shut down; 13 years later, beams of light were seen fired into the Suffolk airbase RAF Bentwaters, and a US airman says he heard over military radio that aliens had landed inside the nuclear storage area.

This is not the first time that military figures have had a close encounter, incidentally. Sir Peter Horsley, a former Deputy Commander in Chief of RAF Strike Command and Royal equerry, revealed in his autobiography that, in 1954, he had an encounter with an alien named “Mr Janus” in the dimly lit drawing room of a Chelsea flat. Mr Janus, apparently a Royalist, said he wanted to meet the Duke of Edinburgh. After the disclosure, in 1997, a senior RAF officer said – and you can just see his hand over his eyes here – “Oh God. How unfortunate that the public will learn that the man who had his finger on the button at Strike Command was seeing little green men”.

Aliens disabled Nuclear weapons & landed at Suffolk base say US Airforce offficers

As numerous US Airforce officers come forward today during a ground breaking press conference in Washington, further news is coming out about the startling revelations about Ufos disabling our most powerful weapons - our nukes if true the implications to national security are tremendous:
Aliens have been hovering over UK and U.S. nuclear missile sites and deactivating the weapons– once even landing in a British base. Furthermore, they warn, our governments are hushing the activity up.
Captain Robert Salas, who, along with six others is to break his silence on the subject, said: ‘We’re talking about unidentified flying objects, as simple as that.

‘They’re often known as UFOs, you could call them that.

The U.S. Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it,’ he said. The former officer said he witnessed such an event first-hand on March 16, 1967, at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.

‘I was on duty when an object came over and hovered directly over the site.
‘The missiles shut down – ten Minuteman [nuclear] missiles. And the same thing happened at another site a week later. There’s a strong interest in our missiles by these objects, wherever they come from. I personally think they’re not from planet Earth.’

  Colonel Charles Halt claims to have seen a UFO at RAF Bentwaters, near Ipswich, one of the few bases in the UK to hold nuclear weapons. The sighting is said to have taken place 30 years ago. First he saw the object firing beams of light into the base then heard on the military radio that aliens had landed inside the nuclear storage area, he said.

 ‘I believe that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted – both then and now – to subvert the significance of what occurred at RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practised methods of disinformation.’

  The six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man, are to present declassified information which they claim backs up their findings. They have witness testimony from 120 former or retired military personnel which points to alien intervention at nuclear sites in the U.S. as recently as 2003. They will urge the authorities to confirm that alien beings have long been visiting Earth.

A press conference today in Washington will also highlight testimony from retired U.S. Air Force Captain Bruce Fenstermacher, whose security team saw a cigar-shaped UFO hovering above FE Warren nuclear base in Wyoming in 1976.

Researcher Robert Hastings, who has written on the subject, explained that so far the aliens appeared interested in ‘mere surveillance’ but warned they seemed to have gone further in some instances.

UFOs again over Tucson - September 23, 2010

September 23 Tucson Arizona, multiple Ufo reports have come in again from this well known Ufo hotspot. Im going through numerous of videos submitted by people from the area over the last week. September 23, 2010 numerous people reported a bright Ufo in Tucson Arizona:
Armando says, "It's not a plane. Five lights stood still then two lights disappeared and came back to a perfect straight line. Then it disappeared."

Crystal wrote, "I was freaked out at first too, all my kids gasped. It had us talking about aliens the rest of the way home."

Angelique said, "What I saw was a plane. It was huge. I saw it three times and it was round and on its side with lights all around it."

KOLD called people all over the place trying to get answers, from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

One spokesman from the Air Guard said that they are performing night flights this week.

Witnesses that talked with KOLD's Dan Marries on the phone insisted the lights they saw were not coming from a plane.
One woman even said the traffic and street lights flickered as it flew overhead. Another said she had to re-set her satellite television after it flew past her house.

This was taken at 8:40 pm from the 7th story balcony of a condo here in Marco Island Florida. The lights pulsated in a yellowish-amber color appearing very much like flares symmetrically suspended dead still in the night sky. The lights will change their positions 5-6 times during their appearance. This is the first video taken upon sighting them.

United Nations appoints Earths first contact alien officer !

This is the biggest news on this site in a long while. If there was any more confirmation that the world is on a count down timetable to full Ufo and Et disclosure then here it is. Its official, after years or closed meetings and discussion on the ET  topic the United nations has come forward publically with appointing their first contact officer:

THE United Nations was set today to appoint an obscure Malaysian astrophysicist to act as Earth’s first contact for any aliens that may come visiting.

Mazlan Othman, the head of the UN's little-known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa), is to describe her potential new role next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinghamshire.

She is scheduled to tell delegates that the recent discovery of hundreds of planets around other stars has made the detection of extraterrestrial life more likely than ever before - and that means the UN must be ready to coordinate humanity’s response to any “first contact”.

During a talk Othman gave recently to fellow scientists, she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials.

"When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”

Professor Richard Crowther, an expert in space law and governance at the UK Space Agency and who leads British delegations to the UN on such matters, said: “Othman is absolutely the nearest thing we have to a ‘take me to your leader’ person.”

However, he thinks humanity’s first encounter with any intelligent aliens is more likely to be via radio or light signals from a distant planet than by beings arriving on Earth. And, he suggests, even if we do encounter aliens in the flesh, they are more likely to be microbes than anything intelligent.
