UFO Lecture Held at Idaho State University in Pocatello

Nice to see the Ufo topic being discussed at a University. The more this gets out into the mainstream academic community the better - as we need thinkers not followers when it comes to Ufology.

Thursday night a different kind of lecture was held at Idaho State University in Pocatello. It was a lecture on unidentified flying objects or UFOs.
Robert Hastings says for the last 30 years the Freedom of Information Act has helped declassify thousands of documents about UFOs. He says a number of them deal with UFO activity at nuclear weapons sights.
Over the last 35 years, Hastings has interviewed former and retired Air Force personnel and he says they've gone on the record saying that saucer shaped objects have appeared above missiles just before they malfunctioned.
During his hour presentation this evening, Hastings' goal was to let the public know what he's found from declassified information. Hastings says he has a message for non-believers.

Orange UFOs seen over Huntington Beach on 12/31/09

This video was shot near Springdale and Slater in Huntington Beach around 6pm. I live in the glidepath for Long Beach airport, and I'm used to seeing all sorts of planes, jets, helicopters. These "orbs" were about 1/4 the size of my thumbnail held at arms length, looked like they were on fire. The iphone 3GS video recording does not adequately capture their coloring: they were alternating shades of orange, and lit up the sky in a halo around them as it was a cloudy and foggy evening. They seemed to be lower than the other air traffic in the area. I would have dismissed them as flares, except they all ran a straight course over our house and out towards the Catalina Island before "burning out". Not saying these are "little green men" but they do fit in the category of "unidentified.

These huge spherical UFO's started appearing around January 18, 2010. They are on both the forward and rear images taken by NASA's Stereo Spacecraft in space. They appear to be moving as they are in different positions on many photos. Remember these are huge possibly at least the size of Earth. Further, if they were planets or some type of huge asteroid comets, they would already have been pulled into the sun by the strong gravity the sun produces as in the case of the recent comet.

Uk Sun reports on that triangle craft

The media finally picked up on this footage i posted over a month ago.
Would like to know your take again on what this could be - man made secret craft or something else?

Nick Pope, who probed mystery sightings for the MoD for three years, said: "The video seems to have been taken through a night scope and presumably shows things not visible to the naked eye.
"It appears to show a structured craft moving at incredible speed. The configuration of the lights is unlike any aircraft I've ever seen.
"It's either some secret prototype aircraft or drone, or something considerably more exotic."

Airbus A-320 Mexicana Airlines encounters Ufo over Xochimilco Mexico

Here's some news we won't here from our American pilots . Note - Mexican pilots have been openly reporting quite a few Ufo reports recently - its no surprise as so manyUfo reports have been coming in from Mexico over the last 2 months:
On Monday January 18, 2010 an Airbus A-320 Mexicana Airlines flew past a UFO while flying in Xochimilco.

This occurred during the ascent operation, to achieve a straight and level flight, being 11:55 pm The Mexican airliner passed about 200 m of a spherical metallic-looking object that changed color (from gray to bright red aluminum). The plane was headed toward the east of Mexico City, while the UFO was south.

According to unofficial data, and with excellent weather conditions, the UFO was visually detected, which was flying at an altitude of about 10,000 m.

The aviation personnel of the AICM (Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de Mexico) had access to information.

It is noteworthy that in this area, especially the boating area near Xochimilco, have discussed the same type of objects: metal spheres that fly just above the canal.

Death threats to Mp's supporting NASA Ufo hacker Gary McKinnon

Some powerful people in the US are not happy about the ongoing delay to extradite him:

Janis Sharp, from Brookmans Park, disclosed that journalists and MPs have also been targeted over their involvement in her high profile campaign to prevent her son Gary McKinnon from being extradited.

In a series of emails seen by the Welwyn Hatfield Times, an American known only as Jerry describes Asperger’s sufferer Gary as a “legitimate target”.

He also threatens that “future unpleasantness and the death of annoying MPs and journalists… will have been no accident.” Janis admitted that receiving the threatening emails had saddened her.

But she vowed: “I refuse to be intimidated and will continue to fight for my son to be tried in the UK.

“If any British person was issuing death threats against American politicians, journalists and members of the public they would probably be charged with terrorism and extradited to America to face a lengthy prison sentence.”

Shropshire Star reader GaryJones reached for his mobile phone camera when he spotted something unusual in the sky over Monkmoor, Shrewsbury, on Sunday night.

Ufo Experts death a mystery says coroner

This has news been making the rounds in the media recently.

Mystery surrounds the death of a UFO expert who was found dead in the sea.
An inquest into the death of Paul Vigay failed to conclude how he came to drown off Eastney Esplanade, Eastney, Portsmouth.

No-one saw the 44-year-old father-of-one enter the water and he left no suicide note.

The inquest heard how the computer expert - who was a leading figure internationally on the research of UFOs and crop circles and worked on the 2002 Mel Gibson film Signs - was discovered floating in the sea by dogwalkers shortly after 8am on February 20 last year.

Three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were spotted in the northeastern part of Moscow, Russia, on Saturday, January 16, 2009.The spacecraft were videotaped flying in a triangular formation.

Yet another Near-Earth Asteroid detected with only days notice

Although tiny this object was only picked up on Monday.
It leads us to think if such objects are only detected days before hitting earth then lets pray NASA's NEO (Near Earth Program) is able to detect the larger ones with greater notice than just a few days or hours!.

The rock, between 30 and 50 feet across, was not in danger of striking the planet and probably would have burned up in the atmosphere before hitting Earth’s surface, if it had headed our way. The asteroid, dubbed 2010 AL30 was first spotted and announced Monday. It is the closest encounter Earth will have with any known object until 2024.
