STEPHENVILLE, Texas (AP) — In this farming community where nightfall usually brings clear, starry skies, residents are abuzz over reported sightings of what many believe is a UFO. Several dozen people — including a pilot, county constable and business owners — insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.

"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a freight company owner and pilot who said the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts."

Machinist Ricky Sorrells said friends made fun of him when he told them he saw a flat, metallic object hovering about 300 feet over a pasture behind his Dublin home. But he decided to come forward after reading similar accounts in the Stephenville Empire-Tribune.

"You hear about big bass or big buck in the area, but this is a different deal," Sorrells said. "It feels good to hear that other people saw something, because that means I'm not crazy."

Sorrells said he has seen the object several times. He said he watched it through his rifle's telescopic lens and described it as very large and without seams, nuts or bolts.

Erath County Constable Lee Roy Gaitan said that he first saw red glowing lights and then white flashing lights moving fast, but that even with binoculars could not see the object to which the lights were attached.

"I didn't see a flying saucer and I don't know what it was, but it wasn't an airplane, and I've never seen anything like it," Gaitan said. "I think it must be some kind of military craft — at least I hope it was."

Helene Solberg glanced out her window on a dark wintry afternoon in 2002 and saw something she won't soon forget. Luckily, her family's video camera was close!
Solberg, lives in a village with the same name in Asker, west of Oslo, when just after 2pm, when dusk already starts settling over southern Norway at this tiime of year, when Solberg noticed the object with a long, bright tail. Helene Solberg then grabbed the video camera and started shooting. The entire episode lasted about eight minutes, with three minutes of it captured on tape, before the unidentified flying object disappeared from view. "Can I explain what it was? Absolutely not," Stig Solberg told Aftenposten's Internet edition Thursday night after sharing the video.

He said he determined that the comet-like object came out of the west and disappeared to the south. He also sent the video to the astrophysics department at the University of Oslo, where a professor thought the object might have been a plane.Solberg disagrees. "It absolutely did not look like a plane," he said. "When we look out the window in the other direction, we sometimes see planes. But we have never seen a plane in the direction where my wife was filming.

An unidentified flying object might have fallen in the Belaya river in the May district in the Pavlodar region, northern Kazakhstan. The chief of a local police department saw a shining flying object falling in the river in the early hours of January 5, the source said, adding that the policeman "reported about it to higher authorities." According to the emergency situations department, divers examined a 15-meter air hole and officers of the local sanitary and epidemic office took water samples. "Divers plunged four times, but no objects were found. Water samples are normal," the department said.

Meanwhile, Lyubov Rybalko, an ufologist and the head of the Asur public organization, said that an UFO cannot fall. They "can either land or pass through the Earth like through air." It is possible that an UFO splashed down in the Belaya river, the ufologist said. ar

Ok seems like the link between UFOs contrails is pretty obvious now, i've seen so many videos of the 2 occuring together on the net now. I did some research on the net to try and find out what if any is the connection between the two. The research from the ufo community points to a shocking finding that somehow the contrails are actually not just contrails but some kind of chemical spray known as chemtrails - being spayed on the population on purpose. Although this sounds crazy (and a bit paranoid!) apparently the chemicals are a concern to our ufo vistors and so are attracting their repeated attention when chemtrails are sprayed.
