The recent landing of the Mars Phoenix Lander is the first "Scout" mission from NASA to study the planet's ice cap. As you may know Mars is a cold desert planet with no liquid water on its surface. But in the Martian arctic, water ice lurks just below ground level. Discoveries made by the Mars Odyssey Orbiter in 2002 show large amounts of subsurface water ice in the northern arctic plain.

A second Anomalous object has been spotted since the Mars Phoenix Lander started beaming back pictures. Its most likely some re-entry module - but who knows?

Hey guys, had to repost this as last post didn't format correctly,
I know i am always looking at the latest UFO sightings on my blog but there is wisdom in the ages. You know the Vatican is not stupid, an institution that has been around for as long as the church is well informed and their recent ET announcement would have only come forward after some understanding of the topic. So I decided to look deeper if there is any connection between the church and Ufo's. Surprisingly there is a a long history of UFO sightings in connection with major historical and religious events and this has caught the eye of recorders down through time. Below is the same sampling of historical UFO sightings related to the life and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. This is really significant as it firstly validates the fact that Ufo's are not just some modern phenomenon that occurred just after roswell and secondly Ufo's are strangely intertwined with major religious events (which many explain the Ufo's observed at the Vatican during major events of the past few years) Anyways, make your own mind up after you see these photos - (Note photos have descriptions below them):
In the 15th century an unknown artist at the Lippi School painted "The Madonna with Saint Giovannino" showing a disk shaped object above Mary's right shoulder. A man and his dog stand looking up at the object.
In 1710, Flemish artist Aert De Gelder painted this unusaul depiction entitled "The Baptism of Christ." It clearly shows a disc shaped object hovering in the sky above Christ and emitting four beams down upon Him and John the Baptist. The painting is currently on display at the Fitzwilliam Musuem, Cambridge.:

A fresco located above the altar at the Visoki Decani Monestary in Kosovo, Yugoslavia shows "The Crucifixion," a painting made in 1350. Two flying objects with beings inside them are visible in the top left and right of the fresco.
In the Svetishoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, Georgia, this 17th century fresco shows two disc shaped objects with flame
shooting out of the bottom on either side of Christ. When the UFOs are enlarged, faces can be seen inside them.

In the 1400s Carlo Crivelli painted "The Annunciation." Ufo is beaming light down to Mary;s forehead.

The 1538 Bruges tapestry below is called"Summer's Triumph." Currently it is on display at the Bayerisches National Museum . 2 ufos are seen in the sky
he renaissance book Prodigiorum liber by Roman historian Julio Obsequens illustrates a UFO and describes it thus: "Something like a sort of weapon, or missile, rose with a great noise from the earth and soared into the sky."

Paolo Uccello sometime in the 1400's painted the"La Tebaide". The picture is now on display at the Academy of Florence. Jesus is a red 'flying saucer' hovering in the air.

Just saw the latest Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull movie and i was shocked that the movie was completely based on Ufos, aliens and Mayans - all my favorite paranormal topics!

The movie starts off with Soviet agent Spalko (Cate Blanchet) in Nevada stealing a recovered Roswell alien body from a top secret US facility . They want part of the dead aliens skeleton, an elongated crystal skull. Spalko believes that when this skull is reunited with a dozen others believed hidden in a South American pyramid, she will harness an ancient power that will give the Soviet Union ultimate military power. The skull of the alien is completely crystal and highly magnetic..... I won't spoil the rest of the story but her are a few more details!. They then travel to Nazca in Peru (the place with all the weird line drawings see from air). From their then travel through the ancient Mayan ruins and discover a building made by an alien civilisation.

The focus of the movie is actually based on the real legend of the 13 crystal skulls. The skulls were apparently left behind by an extraterrestrial society who left thirteen "master skulls" around the planet, which contain the history of these people, their relationship to our creation, and the future of humanity. Passed on to the ancient Mayan elders, the 13 crystal skulls were left behind thousands of years ago to be found by future generations. These skulls are possibly containers of great knowledge and wisdom holding information about the history of the planet, the evolution of mankind, and above all, our purpose on this Earth and our future destiny. The legend says that one day, at a time of great crises, all of the 13 crystal skulls will be discovered and reunited. When that time comes the information will be divulged to humanity, who will be ready to understand it.

Many fo the skulls have actually been found. The most famous crystal skull, which is as big as a human skull, was discovered by Anna Mitchell-Hedges, while exploring the ruins of a Mayan city in British Honduras (Belize). The skull shows all the details of a normal human skull. It seems to have been made without the aid of metal tools because of the absence of typical scratches metal tools make. Laboratory tests tell us that it is impossible to duplicate this skull with modern equipment. One reason is that it has been made with total disregard to the axis of the crystal. Cutting crystal with disregard to the axis normally results in the shattering of the crystal, unless you have special equipment. Also, there are optical lenses inside the skull which produce a particular light phenomena. Light is channeled from the base of the skull into the excavated eye sockets by a set of concave and convex lenses built into the skull. If a fire or a light is placed underneath the skull its eyes will flicker with intense light

Its very interesting to note that pure quartz crystal does have a memory effect. As used in modern day watches quartz can retain certain electric frequencies - so is it just possible that the memory of the alien civilisation is contained in the skulls? Who knows? - Apparently those who have seen the real crystal skulls say they have ability to open consciousness of people who work with them. Wierd "light object" came down to a lake behind the treeline ,traveling along it, sometimes howering at one place, and pulsating strong light through the trees. It changed direction few times and was moving around slowly. The brightnes and the colours of this thing was breathtaking. It completely oversaturated the cellphone cam. The thing looked like it was pulsating. Sometimes it looked disc like and when pulsating it looked like a ball of "energy". At one point there were 3 smaller "objects" around it. I shot a few crappy cellphone footages and zoomed as much as i could as it moved behind the trees. The sighting is under other ivestigation right now. just unbeliveable sighting and experience if you were there.

Hey guys you have probably heard that United Nations held a general assembly back in February this year to discuss a meeting on the 'Peaceful Uses of Outer Space'.

Although Nick Pope says in the above doco that nothing of interest happened in the meeting a recent release of documents from the scientific subcommittee does indicate that in fact the UN is highly interested in whats going on in space. Below is a startling summary of the forty-fifth session held in Vienna on the 11th of February to the 22nd 2008 tying in nicely with the alleged dates of the meetings covering UFO topics amongst other things.

Of Interest is the section on space debris and the reference in the minutes of the overall committee to a Russian organisation called ISON. This stands for the International scientific optical observation network and was developed with the following goals:


*estimation of real population of artificial objects on high geocentric orbits
*determining of possible origin of the discovered objects
*verification of existed space debris distribution and evolution models for high orbits (GEO, HEO, MEO)
*estimation of the real level of danger caused by space debris fragments for operational spacecrafts on high orbits at present and in the future
*testing and improvement of the technology of space debris studies using optical instruments
*improvement of the motion models for measurements processing and orbit propagation of specific space debris objects with high AMR
