It can be clearly seen that the objects (#1 and #2) are NOT part of the lander's assemblage, and are indeed real.
Object/Anomaly #1:
Could possibly be a dirt devil, or a highly-reflective rock (possible asteroid/meteor), or something else.
Object/Anomaly #2:
Could be a highly-reflective rock. Is certainly not part of the lander assemblage, due to calculation of its bearings in relation to Phoenix's components on the surface of Mars. Rate this posting:
