It is difficult to say wether there is a clear intention to suggest anything...
But i am amazed too...
It is interesting, but I'm sure they're just having a laugh and soon they'll move onto something new. They're probably just running out of stuff to use for their logos!
i guess it is because of the popular searches, i think UFO and cropcircles are the most popular..
It's interesting to see where this all is going...
LOL i love how people just believe what they are told... There is waaaay more to this then people realize. Google do not just place ufo/alien related doodles 3 times in a row, on the home page viewed by millions world wide because they like HG WELLS.

It's H G Wells birthday today, so it's not exactly difficult to realise why they did that logo today :P
I believe that H.G. Wells and Jackie Gleason were shown real dead alien bodies by then President Nixon. Is that the surprise at Google?
