Quite an interesting piece of footage here. I would like to know your comments and take on what is seen here. Skeptics may like to explain this is ball lightning but i disagree in this case - your thoughts?

Just lights. Zzzzz.
Again, if these are aliens who want to show us that they're real, why do they just hang or move so slow? Why do they appear at night as lights when there is presumably nothing to stop them from appearing in the daytime? Why don't they move fast, stop on a dime and then tear off at incredible rates of speed like we keep hearing about? If these really are space aliens, what's with these guys?
That storm's a long, long way off. The video is part 1 of 2, and many of those commenting on part 2 on YouTube agree that it shows aircraft coming in to land at Bogota airport. Certainly one aircraft is plainly visible in part 1. The trouble is that it's not continuous footage, so it's hard to tell what we're looking at.
One thing I am sure of is that it's not ball lightning.
Ball lightning is a myth. It's not even a real phenomena. It was created by scientists as an experiment in a lab, but has never been caught (officially)on camera. There's no proof it's even possible outside of manipulated electrical currents inside of a testing area. My 1st thought on this was planes cued to land, but there's an FAA aircraft flying w/in close proximity clearly visible that doesn't resemble the (seemingly) motionless lights at all. I'm going w/a cop-out on this 1; I honestly have no idea.
The phenomenon known as ball lightning is not a myth. Myself and others witnessed this "myth" on a stormy afternoon in Sarasota, FL several years ago. Sorry about you're ignorance on the matter, Michael.
