Should we be ConCERNed ? Future signals may be warning us not to restart the LHC

As you may know Cern's LHC - the Large Hadron Collider was shutdown late last year due to malfunction. Now 2 scientists say signals from the future may indicate that the CERN LHC failure in September 2008 was not a random failure and the machine should not be restarted.

As you may know the LHC seeks to produce the god particle (theorised Higgs Boson particle). By recreating the exact conditions at the start of the universe scientists are trying to understand the conditions just after the big bang. On 19 September 2008, the operations were halted due to a serious fault between two superconducting bending magnets. Due to the time required to repair the resulting damage and to add additional safety features it will be restarted again next month - November 2009.

This is where 2 scientists say we should be conCERNed :

A pair of otherwise distinguished physicists have suggested that the hypothesized Higgs boson, which physicists hope to produce with the collider, might be so abhorrent to nature that its creation would ripple backward through time and stop the collider before it could make one, like a time traveler who goes back in time to kill his grandfather.

The two also speculate that God may have shut down the LHC to keep it from discovering the elusive Higg’s Boson, or ‘God particle’. For proof denies faith and without faith, God is nothing.
Neilsen added: “It must be our prediction that all Higgs producing machines shall have bad luck. .”

Regardless of the theories there are still major safety issues at stake here. Re-creating the environment just after the big bang is not an exact science and who knows what is going to happen:

Also i have heard much controversy surrounding funding of the LHC collider by CERN. If you read Angels and demons book by Dan Brown you would have known that antimatter (an extremely dangerous weapon & energy source) was created by the LHC and stored for energy research. Well the LHC actually does have the ability to produce antimatter and research into storing this matter is heavily under way there. Note it is extremely rare and hard to produce so its still a questionable topic at the moment .
However is it no coincidence then that the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) which obtains funding from nuclear power companies - provided most of the 6 Billion dollars for the project ? - are they looking for a more powerful alternative to nuclear power but keeping this under the wraps? Who knows its still a possibility..

This is scary to hear about. Why would people be doing this? Why does my life have to be at stake because of some experiment that I'm not even a part of?

The Higgs Boson preventing itself from happening through time? Crazy mcCrazy theories... Though I don't dismiss the 2008 UFO wave could have been connected to the LHC tests, this idea that something un-created is preventing itself from happening...that's a new one on me :) Personally, despite all the LHC might prove - I don't think it's right for our civilisation to go poking around in those areas of our genetic makeup when the worldwide majority still haven't been made aware the fact we're not alone (in the Universe). Maybe aliens are preventing the LHC. That'd be awesome, cos finally it'll be scientists on the front-line of UFO/alien activity, rather than military officials & secret air bases :)

The Art Of Silence

A few days ago I read that the LHC reaches operational temps, collisions start in 5 weeks.

5 weeks to go. Again.

On September 10 2008 the LHC had been officially started the previous time. Just 8 days later, September 19 2008 an accident crippled the LHC and the Hadron Collider was forced to halt and to be turned off for two months following damage.

End of September 2008 I was told that the LHC will be Offline Until Spring of 2009 and that the Doomsday lawsuit against Big Bang machine had been dismissed by a judge.

In October 2008 I have been informed that the LHC broke down because of bad soldering on a single connection. In February 2009, the Doomsday case is back in court.

October 12 2009 I learn that a Cern physicist is suspected of Al-Qaida links and has been charged and the next day I wonder: Did God stop CERN from discovering the God particle? and if the sought-after product of the collider is so destructive to nature that it travels backwards through time to stop the collider?

October 20 I read that collisions start in 5 weeks and November 1 that 'One year after £30m meltdown, God Machine is ready to run again'.

The same machine that made the media post articles like 'Is the world about to go out with a bang?' creates so little media interest today, less than 5 weeks before it will be launched - again.

Apparently for most of the worlds journalist the safety of the LHC has been indirectly proven because the Big Bang, the Black Hole, the bosenova, the wormhole, the time machine has not happened on September 10 2008. (Even if nobody ever told them that this might happen)

That is what I call serious investigative journalism.

I appreciate silence a lot in a church, on a mountain top, during night in bed.

But do I appreciate the global media silence about this huge machine that had a serious accident after just 8 days of operation? An accident that took over a year to fix?

No. I don't. And you?
