Myrtle Beach UFO sighting 9/3/2008

posters comments;
Me and the family were out on the beach approx 11-12ish at night. Clear ass night out, slightly windy (obviously being on the beach of an ocean but nothing more than that). We were all laying on our backs just chatting and looking at stars when the wife spotted a "glow" moving crazy among all the stars. No set pattern. Best way to describe it was like the way a bee moves, any #in way it wants to & fast. When she told us about it, it was very easy to spot out. after about 1-2mins of this it disappeared. (this was difficult to catch on film due to the speed and moving pattern, footage didnt come out so great but I did try and film it) S

A "Clear ass night"? That must account for all the bright ass stars in the mid-ass-night sky. Ah-h-h, just a jack-ass joke... :-)
Love Myrtle beach though. Been there many, many times. Wild ass place, is it not?

Video is not very good but it is real! I watched the lights from my balcony at Carowinds on Sept 2 with binoculars for 5 minutes! I am 51 engineer with law degree. Never saw anything like it in my life. Maybe a hoax to attract tourists but I have no idea how it could be done(maybe a super-advanced holographic projection???)! Lights were NOT anything explicable like balloons, satellites, planes, boats, drifting lanterns! It was weird! I am truly baffled by what I saw! If anyone figures out what those lights were I would love to know! And don´t let the sarcastic replies bother you! We know what we saw!

i saw those lights october 18 2008, they were in the east at thirty minutes before sunset. three followinga horizontal path, one light would illuminate then go black, then the next appeared and faded, then the last, then nothing i only saw it for a brief moment as i was driving but couldnt see an airplane in that direction.

My wife and I were in M.B. last week, and on Thursday, Oct. 16 around 7:30 pm we saw the same pattern of lights. We observed four or five yellow/orange lights, starting from the left to the right. Each one glowed for several seconds, then went dark, followed by the next, and so on. A few minutes later, there were two more flashes, then no more. They seemed to be in a perfect straight line pattern, and they were above the horizon, so I'm sure it was not any type of watercraft. We heard no sound, other than the waves crashing on the beach.
We spoke with another couple that had witnessed the event as well.

the planes can't be heard because of the waves. They are military aircraft doing counter-measure flares and fuel dumps.

The myrtle beach lights over the ocean have been debunked.

This is definately real, the video doesn't quite capture the full effect, but my whole family and I saw the same thing while on vacation. It is definately not a plane and not flares. Everone who has seen it in person agrees.

I was staying at the Cherry Tree Inn in Myrtle Beach that week and I saw the same lights. They first appeared around 10:30 and continued off and on for some time, only they would appear and then disappear in a cicular pattern. I first thought it was a flare but the lights came and went in a very concrete circular pattern. Glad I was not the only one to see the lights. Thought I was crazy.
