An image of what appears to be a mysterious rocky monument on Mars has excited space junkies around the world.The 'monolith', was snapped from 165miles away using a special high resolution camera on board the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.After being published on the website Lunar Explorer Italia, it set tongues wagging with space buffs questioning whether there was once life on the Red Planet.

Thanks for posting this. Buzz Aldrin was probably under pressure when he had to say something else on some occasions.
But it's interesting how things take place. Today, when they were expecting the arrival of the flight from Korea bringing home two reporters, the cameraman was focussing on the moon. It was interesting to see how something was 'landing' on the moon.

Those are some of the best of the Mars anomalies I've seen. The shadow suggests some height, and is clearly rectangular. It's possible that it's natural, but that seems very very unlikely.

Great, Buzz himself talking about it. We all know there are outposts on the moon, and possibly an ancient/current civilisation on Mars. And we also know why Armstrong really stays out of the limelight, because he's so famous for his moonwalk, and if he disclosed aliens, the entire world would believe. But anyone else? No, they'd still be sceptical. Mulder would be ashamed! :D

He had mentioned this before this photo was released. i think the video is showing that he had mentioned it and BAM finally it;s released to the public.

I find it funny when people say" Oh if Buzz Aldrin said there was life on mars people would believe it because hes got loads of credibility!" while Edgar Mitchell says something along the same lines and people still DONT believe it. They probably say to themselves something along the lines of" Oh, Edgar Mitchell says Roswell was real! Oh but sure hes probably gone a little nuts in his old age!" So what makes people think that people wont think exactly the same about ol Buzz Aldrin, when he turns around and says something totally controversial!
Where did these photos come from? I don't see a source link anywhere and I can find zero news about this on "mainstream" "news" sources. I'm not denying anything, I just want to read more about these photos.
The official government policy since the late 1950s has been to keep information like this from the public according to Richard C. Hoagland and others. Aldrin and other astronauts undoubtedly have been under an official non disclosure restriction, but ever so often they and former employees of NASA manage to drop hints to the public. In this interview Aldrin is obviously uncomfortable answering some of the questions, and his answers seem to be evasive...like the stone monument could have been put there by the universe or God. Really? He's hedging. Aldrin is pretty sure Phobos isn't an asteroid or natural moon and that the monument was put there by someone. He just can't say it...yet.
