UFO over Dunedin New Zealand March 13th and 14th 2011
Two nights, UFO sighting over Dunedin New Zealand, March 13th and 14th 2011.
There have been previous ufo reports from Dunedin over the years, would be good to hear from any New Zeleanders who live in the are if they can tell us anymore about these sightings?

Many,many, times I've seen this kind of bright light,and as it gets closer, it always turned out to be a PLANE!
So I have no reason,to think that this one is any different.
If the bright light were to shoot
up & down,round about that was different from an oncoming plane
then you would have something to think about!?
I think its more than likely a PLANE.We've been down this track before,so what gives with all this?

Planes have strobing lights. It's an FAA regulation. I don't claim to know what it is. I'm not an anonymous troll spewing disinformation,
Yeah, clearly a plane. Go to the airport. Park up. Watch the planes come in . It's a plane. It doesn't do anything weird. It's just a plane. I'm just in Wellington, there are definately planes here too.
It definaty wasn't a plane!. I saw this rather bright light above Dunedin, I thought it was a plane at first till it stayed in the same place for about an hour. After that It suddenly started moving like a yoyo and doing other erratic actions. I saw a red light come from it that I followed across the sky, It looked and moved like when you watch a satilight pass over. till it suddenly stopped and moved back a little in the way it came. Soon after tinny lights showed up around it, they started dancing and making strange shapes before darting across the sky in a v shape. I then noticed other lights in the sky which I thought were stars start moving and doing similar things. All the time the very bright light was still there which had started to dim and then shoot off to another location before it grew bright again. Then Tiny bright lights which looked like stars started moving in a zig zag pattern in slow and then very quick bursts. The bright one shot off like rocket and disappered. Some other very strange things then happened with the red light again as it shot around the sky very quickly. The others started doing the same thing. I wouldn't know where to begin making sense of it but I'm terrified as what I saw I know is impossible. This was from 11pm-1am Dunedin on the 17th-18th of Jan. 2012
