Highly recommended read:
Everyone knows about the reported recovery of a crashed alien spaceship near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. However, most people are unaware that, at the time of the incident, Roswell Army Airfield was home to the world's only atomic bomber squadron, the 509th Bomb Group. Was this merely a coincidence? Yes, I saw it too, sitting in my living room. I saw an orange ball of light falling diagonally across the sky, then seemed to hover for about half a minute above the roof tops. I then thought I could see sparks or similar eminating from it, so assumed it must have been a firework. A rather large one though!
