altho it was just a plane, good thinking to video something that could at 1st be deemed out of the ordinary!

I dont see this as a plane!

If u look closely, it stays the same place for a long time.
And as it is almost fadeing out, it is also taking off over the rooftop and away from the guy filming really fast.

I personly think this is a real non manmade thing.

This is my video i have been filming this since christmas i believe this to be a government plane i see it hovering very low over houses nearly every night check my videos on youtube they are under springhead ufo i have like 60.check out springhead ufo 46 there are 2 hovering together just to the left of this video a plane comes and they just dissapear . i do not now anyone else who has seen this in oldham i have contacted the newspaper but there not interested. if anyone is from oldham i would gladly show them all the videos on my computer about 6 gb worth

this is not a UFO. this is a plane landing path into manchester airport. these are planes. if u watch the other videos u can hear plane engines. i see these all the time cuz i live in oldham, if u look with a telescope you can see these are planes.

oldham n manchester are busy places y would they fly ufos over it?

Ok, I don't usually go for things like this... But...

I live in Shaw, near Oldham and have just seen the strangest thing out of my bedroom window.... (frozen to the spot though and my camera was downstairs, grrr!) can anyone else relate to this....?

I saw a bright ball of orange light, moving upwards from saddleworth moors. It went very fast, then hovered, then fast again, at one point it seemed to be heading back down again, straight towards Shaw! I was still trying to convince myself that it must be some kind of really special police or military helicopter or something when it seemed to morph right in front of my eyes. It was almost as if a net curtain had been pulled around it, the light became very dull and the shape seemed to widen and lengthen very suddenly, then the light went out and the whole thing looked very transparent, before it seemed to 'drop' something either into the allotments or school at the front of my house. The object that fell to the sky almost looked like a huge carrier bag, or a see through parachute. I even ran out in my dressing gown to check that no on was hurt ( just in case it was a parachute) but there was nothing there that I could see. I am usually very cynical when it comes to things like this, but even I knew when I ran out that it can't have been a parachute from how it appeared and the source it came from. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I was trying to have an early night, but really really can't sleep now. It's really freaked me out! X

Last night 29/7/10 i saw A very fast bright white sphere come over our house from Manchester way going over to uppermill. This was about 10.30 at night just u der the cloud base. It was silent but must have been gong a good few hundred miles an hour. I'm sceptical but I work kn aircraft and that was not one. I'm n the springhead area. Any one else see it?

I was driving home from Oldham with my 10yr old son after doing a karate lesson when i noticed some strange bright orange lights hovering in the sky over the Shaw area. I live in Shaw, and as i got closer to my home it appeared that there was more than 1 of these bright lights - at least 5-6 of them. They seemed to be travelling very slowly at first and then had sudden bursts of speed. 1 or 2 of them looked quite low whilst the others were distant. When i pulled up outside my house both my son and i got out of the car and stood and watched as they flew over head and away into the distance gradually gaining speed. I tried to look at them through my binoculars and all i could make out was a bright orange shapeless 'thing'. There was no noise whotsoever coming from them as at first i thought they were police helicopters. Did anyone else witness this, as i know im not imagining what i saw but i know that it wasn't a plane or helicopter.

Has anyone else seen what appear to be lights in the sky resembling very bright anti aircraft lights? I live in Stalybridge overlooking the hospital in Tameside and from here I can see winter hills mast lights clear as day lit up. the beams of light keep moving really fast but settle again in one place. Some cloud around but yet the lights keep coming. Unable to see any shapes it really is odd?

A few years ago I was waiting for a bus in Royton near Oldham. It was daytime and the bus stop had no windows. It was a blue sky but part cloudy. What I saw was something I've never been able to figure out. I was looking at a very thin coiled spring shape in the sky. It was there for at least 5 mins. It was like a pulled slinky.
