I didn't see that one, but a few weeks a go my husband was driving to work on the LIE(long island expressway) at 4am and saw a glowing green cigar shaped craft coming down at a 45 degree angle. he est. it was about 300ft long and was 500 ft up. he is not a believer and when he got to work he was so freaked out his boss asked what was wrong. He was hesitant to say anything but when he did his coworkers (who were also arriv at the same time) saw it too (dept of sanitation - Nassau County) about 30 mi East of Brooklyn on Long Island
I love how they have an astronomer commenting on this stuff. Instead it should be someone who works in aeronautics, or something related that knows about flying objects, and not just how stars form like this guy.
i'm the one who filmed this video and would be happy to answer any question you have. i've talked to many people in NYC who are seeing these things as well. it's a bit mind-bending to say the least. thanks for helping get the word out.

Last night (5/30/10) around 10:30 pm, I was lying on my rooftop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I was gazing at the stars when I saw a light appear from nowhere way up high. I would guess higher then most airplanes fly. It zipped across the sky and then shot up into space and out of sight in the blink of an eye. It totally blew my mind. I wonder if anyone else saw that?!
