Everyone knows about the reported recovery of a crashed alien spaceship near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. However, most people are unaware that, at the time of the incident, Roswell Army Airfield was home to the world's only atomic bomber squadron, the 509th Bomb Group. Was this merely a coincidence? It coul be and probobly is a big power transformer failure due earthquake. i've seen it coutple of times as i work in a power industry.
The lights are purported to Eartquake lights, a rare phenomenon that creates aurora like lights.

They said it was a power station blowing up.
I must admit I was intrigued when I saw this on the news minutes after the quake. My first thought was earthquake lights - but run the footage on a few seconds, and power to the whole area on the right of the screen is knocked out. So a transformer looks the most likely explanation.
could be a transformer or if it 35 miles south its the nuclear power plant.
`That would make the blue light a neutron beam.
Probably it is an electrical effect caused by earthquake. My cousin is an electrical engineer and is writing papers related to the effect of earthquake to electrical equipment. I'll seek his opinion on this matter.
that's what is reffed to as a neutron beam
Hi, just wanted to add that the phenomena (here any name you want to give it), occurs not only on the city, but in the country too.
Yes, I'm from Chile and have my family living outside the big cities.
Before I asked them, they told me that during the big earthquake of 27F (2010) they saw strange bright lights rising fast frome the valleys and flying up to the mountains.
(Alliens on run maybe?) ^_^
