I have been sent this by multiple people saying that on May 22 a group has decided to collaborate as worldwide Ufo hoax. Obviously the news is now out on this plan so we look forward to some clever CGI's around this date. The timing of this hoax is meant to coincide with what some religious groups are calling "Judgment Day" or the end of the world on May the 21st.
Online hacker group Anonymous has sent out a call-to-arms for its latest prank: attempting to convince the world (or alien enthusiasts, more like) of the existence of men form outer space.
At 8pm on May 22, anyone in on the idea is encouraged to report the same UFO sighting (“a triangle of about 8 yellow lights in the sky”) to the relevant hotline or website of their choice. The idea is that the sudden influx of identical reports will convince UFO buffs that contact is finally about to be made.
Meanwhile, KISS star Gene Simmons has softened his opinion on the hackers, a direct contrast to his views when they hacked his site in October.“I think they mean well, I think it’s misdirected,” Simmons told defamer.com.au. “You’re talking about very bright young people who really have a chance to enter the mainstream and make some money for themselves and climb the ladder of success. If you tear down the structure there’s no where to go.”

this Hoax is already a failure and if it is actually carried out it will be reported as such to MUFON, NUFORC, AboveTopSecret.com, GodLikeProductions.com and anywhere else that it turns up.. seriously. UFO hoaxes are uncool usually they SUCK and just reinforce the ideas of all of the non-belivers and debunkers out there.. stop ruining it for the actual believers.. we all know E.T.'s exist you dont have to fake their presence to "convince" people.. that doesnt work.. what you could do is conduct an investigation one of the many UFO "hotspots" in the U.S. and report a REAL UFO. Or try not telling everyone on the internet that you are planning a hoax (:
