That's a classic mesocyclone/supercell thunderstorm. No mystery about it, but great footage from a meteorological point of view.

What movie was it...... ID4? Cloud then it reveals an flying saucer by descanting out of cloud below?
Kindly disable moderation mode? I believe it discourages people from comment at will. I would say maybe approx 60% would-be comments never happen because of it. We get comments from them when they _really_ want to jump in. It's not the same.
We can always flag them bad comments for Mike to remove..
Other than posts, I really enjoy reading the comments. Does anyone feel the same?

A large thunderstorm. Nothing unusual about this video. I wish we could get several of these in Texas. It is crazy hot and dry.

as to whats on others minds,we can learn from that!? lol sometimes not
i saw that freaky cloud.but it was daylight i took a photo on my phone.to me it look like a mushroom cloud.as i got higher up..,i live on a hill,it was misty and twister like.ufo cloaked iduno.but it was on my mind.i kept staring at it from my friends balcony.even her neighbors freaking out about it.
The comments are the only reason I come to this site. It sure isn't for the crop circle posts.
