We were making mountain pies over a fire and getting read to put the fire out and say a large fuzzy bright vortex over Altoona. Eyes were not registering what it was at first and started filming it. Witnessed by 4..Looked like a tilted white-is vortex.. seemed to be a mist around it as well The sky was perfectly clear.

that was the worst footage of a UFO ever. nothing can be determined from that video.

April 3 2012 we finished working between 8:30 and 9, and sat in the dark looking at the moonlit landscape when, thru the trees, I noticed a fuzzy blob among the stars. My wife spotted it also and I ran out into the field to get a clear view. As I ran, it faded out and was gone. I figured it was one of those cool moonlight refractions in a small cloud. As I stood there it reappeared a little more to the West. I could see that it had a definite crisp shape as I called for Sue to come with the binoculars. Through the binoculars it was spectacular! It was a sharply defined cloud-like vortex shape with the small end pointing in the direction of travel. I could actually see into the open large end. When my wife watched it, she could see some motion in the shape, but not necessarily rotational. To me it looked and acted like on of the internet videos of a jet just breaking the sound barrier, only just bigger.
It was:
10 to 15 degrees above the horizon.
To our northwest.
Traveling due west.
Speed of a far off airliner, maybe viewed from 20 to 30 miles away.
Apparent size was about half the size of my little fingernail on an outstretched arm.
Appeared to brightly moonlit .
It reappeared on the same path, as if this was visible only as the object passed thru the ideal conditions (thin cloud, whatever)
Viewed from Blairsville Pa.
Didn't see any UFO, however there are a few people in need of getting their mouths was out with soap!
They made the UFO in 1991 in Ulyanovsk ( Russia). They never told about it to anyone! Why did they make secrecy of it!?

We say the same thing on April 3 around 8:45 near Blairsville PA. It was in the northern sky heading west. It appeared for about 30 seconds, and then faded out. It reappeared about a minute later on the same heading as it headed due west. I'm glad you got some video of it. What time did you see it?
Observed the exact same thing from central WV. It seemed a lot closer to me than in this video. It was traveling NE to NW.
Saw the same thing here in Sufbury ON, Canada, even contacted the owner of this video. Whatever it was it was huge and on the edge of the atmosphere.
