There are no reference points, rotating it does it no justice and still poor quality. U sure its not just 3 stars? U zoom in and still looks like a star to me. Oh well
Me and my dad saw something similar in Corcoran about 200 miles south of Monterey 8/29/12 at 9:20ish pm. I reported on nationalskywatchers.com the lights were solid red come out of clouds from the east going north west. I spotted the object while looking at a jet going north toward Fresno when the triangle flew behind the path of the jet This thing was huge and wasn't very high I would say it was cursing and then went from triangle to two lights flying side by side continuing north west towards Lemoore and the other towards Bakersfield. I watched them for 10-15 seconds before it split from a triangle and in about 10 seconds later they were all out of sight no noise.
