August 1961; returning home from a Baseball Game outside of Base Housing McConnell AFB; Wichita Kansas my friend (Robert Osowski) and I saw a Huge glow in the cornfield to our right....we crouched down not knowing WHAT to do....to our horror this 30 ft across Glowing Disk rose up from the cornfield...we ran as fast and hard as we could the mile or so back to Base housing. Our Parents called the McConnell Tower and reported what we had seen; and was told there were no radar sightings that matched what we saw. I am here to tell you folks these things are REAL. I didnt believe either; I do now.
