If the both the Prime minister and head of state can't be told the truth about crop circles then what chance do we the public have? These are the bold new accusations made from the the world most senior expert on the Crop circle phenomenon - Colin Andrews.
Andrews who has been the world wide authority on crop circles since the early 80's and has received many letters from the Queen confirming her interest crop circles and he is now making a stand on what he claims is a 'culture of cover ups' from the UK Ministry of Defense.
In fact, after releasing sensitive documents on his own website last week he was forced (probably via legal threats) to censor and remove his own posts (see remove article in question here):
I also stand by my commitment to lobby for a new period of openness and honesty regarding such topics as the UFO and crop circles.
No government has the right to control the growth of human consciousness.
My article was written and support documents have been released for the first time to support this new era and to see to it that the peoples business really does bring in the tide of change that we all deserve.

Colin Andrews and I have discussed this over the past few days, as his article implies I was involved ina cover-up.
Some of the issues Colin highlights have arisen because the line between official and private interest (even within government, the military and the intelligence agencies) can be blurred.
There are particular sensitivities and political difficulties
when members of the Royal Family are involved.
I agree that the MoD has downplayed its interest and involvement in the crop circle issue, as it has with the UFO phenomenon. This has been the policy for many years and it's no secret that I had to play my part in this when
I worked for the government.

Also by the way Colin says that the letter from the Queen is only the first stage of his release of documents exposing the crop circle phenomenon. The second stage will be letters from private industry and certain officials.. keep you posted on this guys..
