A bright light was seen just north of Harrodsburg, KY. The light was very bright and at first, I thought it to be Jupiter but then realized it was in the wrong part of the sky to be Jupiter. It flashed brighter then dimmed and arced in an upward direction and out of sight. Being ex-military, it did not seem like any military aircraft I was familiar with. Could it be a new experimental aircraft? A weather balloon? All I know is that it was stationary while it was bright and then as it dimmed, it arced in an upward direction and out of sight. Does anyone have any similar experiences on this night?
