However, i have been getting so many emails recently from different people recently all saying along the similar lines saying that in 2012 there will be some ET connection. I really don't know what to make of this all. From remote viewers, to Psychics and especially people who have been abducted (and yes i do get quite a few emails from abductees) they all say they see the similar story of being shown some disaster and then Earth being redeemed by Et's somehow... yes i know it sounds crazy and i wouldn't have brought this up except for the fact that i have been told this story by many different people now (varied by along the same lines) , so it is a bit strange i guess.
Is it because all these people have read too much on 2012 or is something really happening here that we should look out for?
I just thought i would bring this up, a new thread at UfoevolutionForum may be a good avenue for discussing further as it is beyond what i normally write about and needs further input and debate from others.
I do remember also this bizzare article from 2004 along these lines:
Scientific interpretation of the monks, statements makes it evident that the Extra Terrestrial powers are watching us every step of the way. They will intervene in 2012 and save the world from self-destruction.When asked about recent UFO sightings in India and China, the monks smiled and said the divine powers are watching us all. Mankind cannot and will not be allowed to alter the future to that great extent. more
(If you read the article I will point out that yes there is evidence that nuclear weapons and silos have been de-activated by Ufos & thus our nuclear activities have been monitored by Ufos for some time)

Your "somehow" strikes the right tone: people have been hyping ET salvation for (at least) 60 years, and it has not happened, not once!
2012 is an arbitrary date. I hereby predict that on Dec 20 2012, I'm gonna party like it's 1999!
It's all very nice that they should want to 'save' us, but I can't help feeling that we should really be taking responsibility for ourselves and our own future by now. We don't actually know anything at all about these guys, or what their true intention/agenda is. They could do and tell us anything they wanted and we wouldn't know any better.
Personally, I wish we'd all stop bickering in the playground and take control of our own destiny.
Don't forget how truly awesome WE could be (are) if we all put our minds together.
I agree with the previous post. My question is Why? if they are a benevolent super civilization, why would they want to save a civilization that is destroying itself with greed for wealth and lust for power? We are doing this on three fronts right now. The environment by destroying our oceans and forests thereby destroying our food chain, air and water through individual and corporate greed and world governments lust for power and total control over the people. We are even destroying ourselves through acts of war and terrorism for the same reasons. and Economically for the same reasons.
if they need us to interbreed and carry on their own civilization, why not just take those of us that they need and let the rest of us just finish the job? Then they could just reclaim the planet and start over. We had better wake up and take care of ourselves or 2912 could really be it!
Why do people say we are only responsible for saving ourselves. I am 23 i wasn't even born on this planet when the misguided souls took control of this planet. Wasn't it the job of the et's to rock them off their platform, after all these et's have played god to us and saved us many times. Here in India, they have played gods like Krishna and Rama....blue skinned et's.
