Where in Russia is this?
How does this sighting fit in with that ret COl's predictions over major cities? Looks a lot like the NYC lights to me...and its about the second week of Jan.
Haven't heard much relation to his predictions this new year, but I haven't forgotten about them!
News flash to the UFOlogists out there - 3 nonlinear points of light ALWAYS form a triangle. Saying they are in a "triangle formation" is completely superfluous and artificially implies that the three points mark the vertices of a triangular craft. Three Chinese lanterns adrift in close proximity to each other will always give the illusion of a "triangular formation". As the lanterns move about, they can easily trick the mind into imagining a solid craft maneuvering in 3 dimensions. Until the bod of the craft can be positively identified, Occam's razor forces the conclusion that 3 lanterns are drifting in the same air mass with local variances of position.

Not lanterns. Not any type of conventional aircraft i've ever seen. Not flares. Not LED kites. I've seen these similar red lights myself, and there are tons of videos of them. I'm always curious to hear explinations on these
@eyeswideopen Dude... c'mon. Really? If you drew a line connecting each point from the vantage shown the outlying shape would form a triangle. What else would you call it? Random lights in the apparent formation resembling a triangle? You sound like a snoody troll. All you did was over-specify the obvious. I honestly don't think these are lanterns; the movements are far too controlled, they stay fixed in 1 area, & each light is capable of moving in multiple directions.
And these are not lanterns because of what? Because you don't want them to be lanterns? Sorry, but it's always the same. As soon as a new video is posted someone writes an unqualified comment that it can't be anything but an UFO, or to be more precisely regarding to this video here, a strange set of mysterious red lights appearing all over the known world. I'm curious, do you really believe in it or are such comments are some kind of joke for you? If it is the first case, I'm really anxious about you. It it's the second, I can tell you it's not really funny. No offense intended.
Notice how eyeswideopen left the same comment under his normal moniker and then again as an anonymous poster. This would imply that he accidentally forgot to check the anon. box, and then thought he safely covered up his mistake in time before it was posted, in fear of any backlash from his comment. This shows fear (or lack of balls) to stand behind his opinion in case he's wrong or is outsmarted. Notice also how he goes on to insult me anonymously, even though it's clear it's him because he speaks in the same snoody, asshole-ish tone and manner as his initial statement. Grow a pair you ball-less snob of a troll
I wrote the second post.
Sure, 3 points make a triangle. Thanks for "pointing" that out. It's the seperation between points and the angles they create that makes this "Triangle" Similar to others filmed.
The movement is too restricted and it maintains the precise formation for too long of a time to be independant flare or lantern style objects.
I jump out of airplanes for a living from all sorts of altitudes. When planning operations like that you have to take in to account different wind velocities at different altitudes. It may be quiet on the ground, but if you go up a couple 1000' even the winds can much much greater and going in different directions. Ever released a baloon and seen how it gets pushed around all over the place as it elevates? Even if they were tied to something like a super long tether (like you see baloons at car lots) they would still be subject to the wind sheer at alitude.
No one said it was a solid craft either. It could very well be 3 independant objects staying in formation.
Im skeptical but I also don't just brush something off with a simple explanation of chinese lanterns. I've witnessed lantern tests with slower winds than what were recorded on nights of supposed UFO sightings and they were brutal.
Flares, balloons, lanterns do not behave in a stationary manner for any length of time same air mass or not. As well with flares and illuminated baloons you can usually see the Parachute or balloon that is being used as it reflects the light from the flare itself.
I'm definitely skeptical of a lot of sightings out there, I think every body should be. But you shouldn't have clouded judgement whether you're a firm believe or a firm skeptic. It's hard to view things without the filters on.
At no point did I say anything that this was a UFO and the best sighting since sliced bread. I was just asking if people have been mentioning Fulham's predictions with respect to recent events.
I have to agree with the earlier anon poster. Three lights will ALWAYS form a triangle, unless they are in a line. I refuse to call anything a "triangular craft" unless I can see a triangular craft. The famous Belgian photo shows a triangular craft but I haven't seen many others,
Holly cow!I can smell his keyboard
smoking from here,...its ONLY comments, guys!......?
No1 ever said it was a solid craft. That's why eyeswide's comment is just pointless jargon. His statement was that 3 points in a non-linear pattern do not imply the shape of a triangle, when in fact that's exactly what it implies. He's basically calling out every vid poster who used the term "triangle formation" in the description of their video. When military craft are in formation they use the term "delta" but it's still a pretty basic triangle. His post doesn't hold any validity and it's just anger from a troll who's found something to complain about. It pisses me off that he doesn't have the balls to use his open ID when being confrontational, and hides behind anon. I'll bet when he's not on his PC trolling he's a sheepish little bitch.
