Fortunately I had my phone with me because I managed to capture a short video of this thing. The glowing object seemed to do slow semi-circles in the air for almost half an hour. It had a golden light emanating from inside of it and made no sound. Then it disappeared into the distance at a high speed. My skeptical friends and I really have no explanation...

I saw that same thing last night (07/16/08) in Las Vegas, NV. It's exactly the same thing. At first I thought it was one of those beamed spot lights but it had no beam. That is freaky.
It's cool looking, but because there is no baseline horizon or stationary object in the image while the UFO is moving it's hard to prove that you aren't just pointing at the moon and moving your phone around.
