While on the topic of my recent post on 'the day the earth stood still' movie, i was recently sent this very interesting article about thousands or large perfectly prehistoric carved spherical rocks found all over Bosnia. As you may know in the movie large spheres descend upon and leave the earth with specimens. It may just be a coincidence but the findings have got many scientists in the country puzzled as the rocks are massive and are all perfectly spherical in geometry (a feat even with made with modern tools) and some even date to over 2000 years old ... weird hey!
If anyone knows how to translate this source article from bosnian to english please repond to this post... any comments guys?

I am not sure, but the article may be in Croatian because the adress ends with ".hr" --> Hrvatska.
But again, I am not sure.
Large stone spheres are also found in the archaeological record in Costa Rica. Check out:

They are not really perfectly spherical. Plus I saw a program I think on the history channel that demonstrated how they were made by using stone tools. Very laborsome but not technically difficult.
