This video, like a set of reason similar videos, doesn't seem to depict anything suspicious. The object is static and doesn't seem to be animated in any way or shape. It's rather obvious that this is a known celestial object.

Maybe they're collecting cows for a Lancashire Hotpot!!

Well, if not obvious, just not worth making a big deal about. If you're excited by this, then you're using your imagination too much...

It looks like it may be the planet Venus. It is currently very bright in the evening sky. Were you filming toward the SW?

I agree that maybe the video is not that spectacular, but I don't beleive it's a celestial object, it's just too bright to show up on a video camera at that intensity. Plus, you can actually see the object get brighter. When you couple this with the quantity of reports of strange behaving lights coming out of the Lancashire area, it's very curious.

I HAVE THE VIDEO ON DVR. YOU PLAY IT SLOW AND YOU CAN SEE ITS A BIRD
THE WINGS ARE FLAPPING.

It makes me laugh when the so called 'experts' come out from their computer chairs and state 'Oh, it's just a Star or this and that' when they were not there when this was filmed. My daylight footage is much better, although you will still see the 'computer chair' experts dismissing it as a weather balloon, flare etc. I recently filmed 4 ufo's over Leyland on 7th February which was corroborated by other witnesses in Chorley and Lancaster on http://www.uk-ufo.co.uk/category/uk-ufo-sightings/lancashire-ufosightings/ and a lot of my footage can be found on youtube under the name 'dvdsmart'. I am sorry that the ufo's do not seem to conform to the 'computer chair' experts idea of a ufo, but there you go....

A video shot at night cannot at this moment in time truly reproduce what we see with the human eye, but with the advent of the new High Definition vidcams we may see some better night videos.

For what it's worth, I much prefer the daylight footage, but they don't appear to order!!
