Some people suggested skydivers with flares, such as Golden Knights?

We watched these from the Fashion Square parking lot for a few minutes... they formed tails, started to fall, then hovered. They were then replaced by two horizontal lines that began to move laterally right and left...
I saw two of them in the Glendale / Peoria area. They had flaming tails and looked like meteors plummeting to earth until they started blinking in and out of sight and switching directions. Nice catch on film, wish I was able to. It lasted for a while.
