Pretty good. Rapid speed and direction changes precludes chinese lanterns. Zero evidence of cgi or reflection. I'd say distance traveled also makes a remote control device unlikely. Very interesting and hard to explain, one of of the better videos this year.
I saw the same thing tonight over Geelong. 6th July aprox 10.45pm. The light zoomed up and down and changed colours from green, to red, to white and blue. I thought it was kids with a toy but it went up too high and over too far... freaky.

I saw the exact same thing a month or two ago from Belmont, but with 3 or 4 lights zig zagging changing colours. Then again tonight august 6 about 10:50, just one light though again green, blue, bright gold and red. Went to get my video camera but then it was gone.. Maybe I'm seeing things??
