I've seen something kinda like that in knoxville TN , it looked like a fireball but it didn't have that weird horseshoe shape, and went up, not down. Those Martians must be colts fans lol.
Maybe something like this ?

At least it was clear enough to look weird!
but I didn't see it as fiery!
Sure is some weird looking stuff up there!.........
crack in your window. im 22 years
its a plane the "fireball" is the sun reflecting off the vapour trails
Oh no, not more contrails..
it may be the goodyear blimp. youngstown is not far from akron where there is a blimp hanger. goodyear blimps are often in the area.
Checked my astronomy software, and given the position and the time, it would seem to be Mercury. The weird shape in the zoom is probably an artifact of the camera. When you zoom in on really apparently small objects (objects that are basically a point of light) with a camera that isn't designed for it, the image can shape itself to the camera's optical system. With modern digital cameras, this can lead to some weird stuff. (on older cameras, it usually led to hexagonal or octagonal shapes from the camera's eye)
I hate the non-right-click for comments. I'd like to open comments in a separate window so that I don't have to go back and forth to read what others are saying...
Ok, that's just stupid. There's absolutely no fucking way in any way shape or form that Is a plane. I left a comment on another post about being tired of people leaving comments like this and every1 flipped. Explain to me how a plane can hover in the same spot, appear shaped like a horseshoe, and then fall downward behind the treeline. It's just unfuckingbelievable that some1 would even say that.
I have also seen what looked like a similar 'fire in the sky' type object about 15 years ago. As seen through binoculars it was just a set of flames approximately the same size as a small aircraft and cruising across the sky at about the same speed as a small aircraft. However it had no aircraft body or anything like that, just two tall vertical flames similar to but perhaps less intense than the object in this video. The sighting was in daylight during late afternoon and lasted about 45mins, while following it by car, after which the object eventually flew over the horizon. What is the symbolic meaning of this, don't ask me.
its fucking that eye thing from lord of the rings lol
I have seen the same object in the sky over Cleveland, Ohio that same day, at first I thought it was airplane lights, and as I looked at it for about five seconds, it took off south and downward at an incredible speed, this happened at about 5:30 PM.
High altitude plane, people. High altitude plane.
I seen one in Clarksburg, WV on July 5, 2013.
