Hubble Trouble - NASA's last Rescue and repair mission

We owe alot to Hubble in opening up the minds of science - the amazing images it sent back to earth confirmed in the minds of many scientists that the possibility of life beyond earth does exist.
Now NASA wishes to keep the long troubled telescope going with the fifth and last mission to repair it launched next week. For nearly 20 years the telescope has kept its orbiting eye trained on the universe, providing clues about its origin and nature.With the launch of space shuttle Atlantis to repair the ageing instrument, scientists hope to extend Hubble's life span until at least 2014:
