Amazing Ufo in Jerusalem 28th January 2011

Urgently calling upon our friends in Jerusalem to tell us more about this highly interesting sighting - what caused the power surge - the ufo? Please if you live in the area let us know asap so we can verify this video - it could be a computer edited image so we need verification from people in Jerusalem.
This morning around 01:00 AM at the promenade of Armon Hantziv in Jerusalm, i was witness(with another guy), an amazing ufo aircraft over Jerusalem old city (mount Moriah) Dome of the Rock,Temple Mount, (قبة الصخرة, הר הבית).
4 seconds into video, a white aerial light goes down quickly toward horizon to Dome of Rock area in The Old City (upper red circle). At 54 seconds - seemingly from the foreground Armon Hantziv site (bottom red circle) from where the camera videotapes - a rectangle of translucent “light” pops in and a circle of translucent “light” zooms toward the white aerial object still on Old City horizon. Immediately the original white object zips straight up at terrific speed. Camera pans up to four red lights pulsating on and off in large shifting pattern from triangle to diamond

This almost looks too good... and like something produced in aftereffects or something of the sort. As a matter of fact, I've seen almost identical special effects work done by total amateurs, which is what makes me slightly skeptical about this one.

It would be one of the better videos I've ever seen-- if it's real.

Whatta you guys think? What makes you so sure this one is legit?

I've watched this a few times and i think i know how it's done. A man standing on a ladder out of frame holding a heavy light attached to a fishing line slowly lowers the light down to line it up with the other city lights. If you watch the flash generated it's not in exact alignment with the object, it's just off to the left and in front, which strikes me as a mistake in editing. The flash could be imposed using aftereffects, but with some well timed choreography it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be edited in. After timing the pull with the flash (or vice versa) he yanks the line str8 up until the light disappears just out of frame. It's just my opinion, but i'm calling shenanigans on this 1.

Well!...What can one say that hasn't already been said, and very well I might add!...just like the others!.....?

I was going to say the same thing Anonymous. "Too good to be true" came to mind, first thing. Are there any other folks who reported to have seen this? Especially with that bright flash? If there is not a single other reference to this anywhere, from someone else, I doubt it's real.

If it is real; are there any nuclear facilities in or around the area where the flash occurred?

This is incredible! Why isn't this all over the news? Oh yeah... Why report stuff they don't want us to know?!
Disclosure... NOW!

That is a good question. One thing i notice is how fast it left as soon as the anomaly occurred. This is something i as well have seen generated. i would ask where this video actually came from and see if you can get the full copy of the video. One thing that worries me is why didnt the camera man bring his focus up to where the craft took off?..... just my two cents. IF this is real... and there is evidence of a power surge in the grid...this will have to be the best recorded UFO footage i have seen to date.

If it is a fake it's an impressive fake. Especially since there are now at least 2 video recordings of the event and they both sync up perfectly.

Could still be done with after effects, but not an easy task.

there is a second video of this going around from a different angle.... and i read that it WAS reported on he local news. Of course i can't prove it as i do not speak Hebrew... but it was supposedly reported. This happened just 2 nights ago... give it a few more days and hopefully it'll start getting some coverage. fingers crossed this was a real catch!

Ok, so if you haven't seen it this yet ANOTHER video of this, shot from a completely different location at eye level. 3 videos, from different cameras, shot from 3 angles. Tha kind of evidence would be an open and shut case in any courtroom, and this is 100% proof of the validity of this event. I think the ufo community now has it's smoking gun.

It does look good and, to tell you the truth, I would love it to be real. Lets work backwards though. The red lights really look like a firework display. You last see those lights at 1:55 on the video. At exactly 1:30, I can detect the first red light. It was eight seconds before this that we see the flash off to the left. I believe that flash to be a firework mortar. All the timing makes sense. So what about the sphere? I just don't know; perhaps it is a projected illuminated sphere. This can be done and if some Hollywood people are hoping to restart interest in UFO's ahead of a new release, than this explanation is plausible. I do not agree with Michael and the ladder theory. This is because there is a second video that shows the same thing from a different angle and taken by Americans (youtube). If it is real, then coool. If not, then, well done.

There is another video on this!
Look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY2FFEufsuY

It is realy amazing !

What about this angle:

It looks real from a closer view.

This is fake and i'm an asshole. The second video is just a cropped and enhanced version of the first, and the third video doesn't sync up with either, the timing is off by a good second or so, as well as shows several inconsistencies such as no visible flash within the video, which should be overwhelmingly noticeable right on top of it based on the brightness exhibited in the first video. Also if you notice in the first video, the backdrop of the lit up Jerusalem city scape doesn't show any movement, flickering of light, vehicles moving, lights being turned off etc... which would suggest it's just a fixed image imposed into another video file and has lighting effects added using Adobe AfterEffects. I have experience using AdobeAE (I suck at it) but i can say that some1 moderately skilled in using the program could put all this together in a couple of hours with the idea and planning of what they wanted to do already in their head. When you look closely at all these aspects combined, this really isn't all that impressive of a hoax. It fooled me and countless other people though, which taught me a valuable lesson; Don't jump to conclusions until you've covered all the bases

sorry people but the UFO sighting on 28/01/2011 above Jerusalem city is 100% legitimate to me

especially after seeing the another similar video, which was taken from a totally different angle, with a lot closer & clearer view of the same UFO

and also corroborated by a group of eyewitnesses, a group of American tourists visiting the area

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY2FFEufsuY

showing not just a hovering light ball as usually, but well a dynamic & rhythmical pulsating light object, constantly changing its geometrical configuration.

if we look at dome of the rock we will find history of flying objects but not necessarily aliens. For Muslims, Dome of the rock ,is the rock from which Muhammad's winged horse leapt into the sky, This stone is believed to be the place from which the Prophet Muhammad accompanied on the Archangel Gabriel, on the "Night Journey" into heaven (Qur'an 17).described in the same fashion as the video shows. The rock is said to bear the horse's imprint. Muslim tradition holds that an angel will come to the rock to sound the trumpet call of the Last Judgment at the end of the world.

at that point Jesus will return to show the world he is truly God and muhammed was a homosexual.
