Translated: the mother is basically saying "dad, do you see whats going on? what are these things?" The kids are excited/scared and she tries to sound reasonable to then nd says to them " They are stars and are drifting and a couple of the lights are burning out" The kids continue being alarmed and excited but the mom is asking them to calm down. One of he kids says 'we aren't going to live past today... ' (in a somewhat jest but serious tone) Not sure hy the sound cuts off...
