Testimonial evidence exists that corporations have become the ultimate repository of the nation’s UFO secrets. A number of whistleblowers have emerged revealing how corporate control has been achieved. A recently deceased corporate whistleblower revealed how during the mid-1980s, he worked for six months as an archivist for a large aerospace defense contractor based in California. It was a temporary assignment with his employer at an obscure office building. The archivist found many files dealing with flying saucers and extraterrestrial life. The files contained: “Reports, photos, media materials (tapes, films, video cassettes) and material from crashed saucers.” When asked where the files came from he revealed the “materials came from everywhere. CIA, Air Force, Navy, Army, DARPA, NORAD, DoD, FBI, and government officials to name most.”

Private Firms Likely Hold Secret Ufo Files - Brings Dilemma to Obama Disclosure
As you may know people, the Obama administration has launched a full campaign for a more open government starting with the plan to increase availability of FOI requests on material previously restricted due to national security concerns.

However, many in the Ufo community are concerned that over the last few decades the military industrial complex has cunningly transferred alot of its top secret Ufo files over to major private corporations in return for funding and use on collaborative government-private projects (eg jet propulsion & military defense rese
arch) . So its seems possible now that some top secret Ufo files are
once again conveniently out of the publics eye for good because the files
have 'changed hands' from the government to industry - and this means they will likely be kept out of the publics eye for good....
Many private firms have key interests in ensuring these secret Ufo files are kept to themselves because they contain trade sensitive secrets and businesses will defend anything that can give them a substantial advantage over their competitors. Ufo files ar e in demand by firms specialising in aviation, propulsion and military defense systems.
Multi-nationals such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, JPL are long know to have been likely privy to inside government Ufo information - possibly on a pay for view or collaborative contract basis. (The Lockheed Skunk Works team in particular - because of their development of advanced military aircraft) . Ufo material is ideally sought for advancement of prototype designs and development of new propulsion technology...
This below article looks at this dilema further

President Obama’s January 21 Memoranda to promote Open Government and strengthen the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) are intended to release unnecessarily classified national security files. Among the many millions of classified files to ultimately be released, some will concern UFOs and extraterrestrial life. From these releases, UFO enthusiasts and exopolitical researchers hope to find clues into how government policy has been developed. More importantly, FOIA releases will point to where the bulk of the nation’s UFO files are located. That’s when the Obama administration will run up against corporate control of UFO files and policy.

Though I believe the Obama administration truly has good intentions about releasing UFO-related documents, I think this will be close to impossible to actually go through with. As the article points out, a lot of the sensitive "juice" has been distributed through networks to closed institutions in which the public cannot access nor request access to. However, I do hope the Obama administration will conduct a proper search and dedicate serious resources to ensure full disclosure for our future generation. Hopefully their work will spread out new waves of better values to those in charge of the sensitive information.
Obviously this is all just speculation though. None of us can either prove or dis-prove this. Evidence?
